just keep in mind if with boost if you add a line to an existing account, they will align your billing dates. So if you add a new line one day before your existing line renews, they will bill you the entire monthly cost for one day of service on the new line--no prorating.
How long can this be held before activating? How easy is it to port in and out of Boost?
I want to port a VoIP number to GV and this seems to be a low cost way to do the port to mobile then to GV. Was thinking of doing it with the $15/month TracFone plan on an old inactive TracFone which I could reactive with a plan. But I also have a phone that should work on Boost (ATT compatible checked list). The VoIP number is good until December so I don't want to switch yet.
