The ram is an insane ~$800 of that. If you do it without the ram it's $1039.

Holy crap $1800 bundle Batman! Just add Case PSU and GPU that can keep up. See you at $3300-$3500 after tax and shipping! 5080 max of course cuz no one rich enough to afford 5090 these days.

What a time to be alive!!!! $1800 for just parts not enough for a complete build. lol.

9950x3d2 wow 208mb cache!!!! What a beast though. I need this CPU for mindcraft. Makes my 9950X and 9900x3d v1 looks like a toy for sure.

Oh damn maybe just not enough data for the overload the 96MB cache today lol!!!

Good to know and thanks for testing I wasn't FOMO anyway though.

BTW, how do you get the live benchmark data show up on the screen while the game is playing - the CPU/GPU temp, fan speed, FPS etc. Is that pretty much in all games these days?

The stats you're looking for on screen are usually from Riva Tuner which is included with MSI Afterburner. It's a great tool and free to use. Just watch a YouTube video on how to set it up to look nice.

This CPU wasn't made for gaming since gaming will only utilize a single CCD on the chip otherwise you start seeing inter-CCD latency. This was more of an "I told you so, stop asking" CPU. AMD Engineers have been stating since the 7800x3d CPU release that two 3d cache's provided no benefits. People kept asking, so they released the 9950x3D2 and no one was happy with the performance uplift just as AMD had been touting years before.
