Edit 8/27/2026, Looks like trade-in deal is MOSTLY DEAD. On 8/21 it was revised to no longer accept broken devices, and on 8/27 modified so that older devices only get a $450 credit instead of $900.

Original post: Existing T-Mobile customers can get up to a $900 trade in value on Google Pixel 11 phones. The trade in can include some lower end phones, and works on older calling plans (including Go5G and ONE, but not simple choice)

The correct rebate only showed when I was logged into my T-mobile account. It says it's for "Essentials and select legacy plans". My old T-Mobile ONE plan worked. (edit: others have reported Simple Choice plans don't work, only a $250 rebate)

Here is a link to the base Pixel 11 for an example:

https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-pho...e-pixel-11

For a base Google Pixel 11 this would make it basically free. For higher end models it's a $900 discount.

Interestingly, the plan says the credits are split out over 36 months, but the checkout and my actual order confirmation show it's only spread over 24 months.

Important for Costco members: ordering from costco saves you a $35 device connection fee and may get you a $100 Costco card:

I I wholeheartedly agree and I am one of the customers who are currently fighting them for my promo credits on the pixel 10 deal from 3 months ago! That's part of the debacle. Our/My phones through the T- Life app showed we were targeted and promoted the pixel 10 offer, Brought our trade in phones to a corporate store 3 months ago and it was instantly logged in the system, but yet we're still not receiving our credits, and after multiple calls to customer service and supervisors, it still has not been corrected and credits applied. My next step is an FCC complaint. So to anyone thinking about taking this Pixel 11 offer, weigh your options real hard! I am a legacy customer, had a ONE 55 plan for over a decade. They've raised my rates twice, changed my plan on there own this month , and Got rid of my autopay by credit card discount/benefit last year. So my plan that was originally $60 per month "One unlimited 55 for 2 lines", Tmoble has raised and switch me to "Experience signiture with 55 savings" to which it now cost me $90 a month for just 2 lines of service. ( Full disclosure they now say I have Netflix..with adds... on them) T-Mobile has gone from being the uncarrier to the Untrustable!
Yup. After leasing our upgrades from T-Mobile about 4-5 years ago and dealing with billing issues over and over again, it just isn't worth it. I will pay for the service plan I want and nothing more. You can't trust them to accurately input the perks that are promised and it apparently takes a master's degree to decipher what their billing promos mean and how they work. Customer service is a joke nowadays but calling T-Mobile turned me into a complete a*****e. I wouldn't even talk to the entry reps and immediately asked for a supervisor until they did it because the first person you talk to is NEVER given privileges without supervisory approvals and you just end up giving ALL of the same information and story to two or three people like you are a broken record. We all know the, "do you mind if I place you on a brief hold?............... Hello, are you still there? Thank you for patiently waiting. I've discussed this with my supervisor and blah blah blah".

Even then, you get off the phone and think you have accomplished something over the last two hours only to have the exact same problem during the next billing cycle abd start the process over again only to get a different answer than the last time.

There are finance plans direct from phone companies and perks, deals, referrals, etc to be taken advantage of if you really dive in to all of it and want to save the most money. With my latest S26 Ultra, I just bought it outright because I didn't even want to deal with those payment plans either. It hurts to do that these days with how much phones cost but I'll take that over all of the other headaches of carriers and leasing if I can avoid it.

Meh it's hard for me to justify signing up for any deals after they've raised the plan pricing twice in a year. 36 month credits is brutal... If they move me off my legacy plan and raise prices any more I'm gone.
Yep I'm on the grandfathered Simple choice plan and I don't want to be locked into price increases because of phone credits. This is the new version of 3 year contracts, but worse because your rates might go up in during the duration.

Is there something going on with the tmobile website? I can't add a device to my shopping cart nor pick my upgrade device.

I've tried to call the costco number 833-428-1765 but it went to Tmobile "promotion line" and the rep said they are not part of costco. What am I doing wrong?

I'm stuck with Tmobile due to the pixel 10 promos, must well take advantage of this. IT SUCKS that they took kickback away and I didn't even get a text. I'm on ONE and still haven't force to migrate yet, but I guess it's coming.

How are people doing through costco? Their website? Thx

Okay to go to Costco I first go to this link:
https://www.costco.com/f/-/t-mobi...d-showcase

Then I click the "upgrade now" button near the bottom middle. This does a single sign on login thing where first I log into costco membership, then I log into the tmobile website.

Note that when I tried this on my work's computer the single sign on didn't work because of network security thingies. Worked at home though.

Also I still had about $100 of an old phone (the dead pixel 9 actually) I had to pay off. so that payoff was part of the purchase price.

Thanks, I did call and both of the time it went to Tmobile Promotion line and it has nothing to do with Costco. It's weird.

I was just able to order through the website and got the activation fee waived.

Thanks, I was able to get it to work using similar steps you mentioned.

As soon as your pixel 9 is paid I'm done with T-Mobile. They took away the credit card option to pay by removing $5 discount and now the line increases. Plus the Tuesdays are never useful to me.
Same. Looking at Google Fi because I dont mind paying a decent bit, and still want highest priority access to towers. They seem to have decent ongoing upgrade deals for new phones, and pricing is predictable.

Anyone know if $100 costco card is automatic? Would it be delivered to the primary number via text or the number that was upgraded? Is there a way to change it to deliver to the primary number? Thx

Oof good luck with it. We did 4x of the promo, and opted for mail in trade for reasons. 1 out of 4 had the promo drop off, and it took like 6 calls and 2 months to get the credits restored and billing history all fixed. I have a feeling I would've been worse off with in store trade, because the mail in gave me a paper trail to prove that I had sent it in.

Not enough to keep me, raised my monthly $70 by eliminating Kickbacks. Moving to USMobile.
I've been using USMobile for years now and it's definitely worth using.
