One of the other forums I go to has one of these threads and I've been turned on to some good movies that other regulars just watched. I was kind of surprised not to see a similar thread here (at least not that I could find.) Big Grin

I just rewatched "Kinamand" - a cute drama about a Danish plumber who gets involved in an arranged marriage with a Chinese illegal. Good stuff (Netflix instant.)

So what have you folks watched recently?

I felt the same... It was such an interesting concept and they could have done so much with it... But the movie lost focus after the second half...

i think we can all agree avengers is the new best movie ever, even though loki was poorly written.

I finally got around to watching A Clockwork Orange [imdb.com] this weekend. Not what I was expecting, but pretty good nonetheless.

Well... I haven't put much thought into him, though my friends and I did discuss all of the other characters and how much we liked them. I guess looking back, he did seem a bit weak.

Maybe because he was the typical cheesey super villian? If that's what they were going for, then they did well. I mean, the parts I didn't like about Thor's movie were most likely planned to be that way, even though I didn't like it.

So... Unsure Dontknow

The best scene Loki had was with Thor, though! Roll

I was excited to see "Robin" from How I Met Your Mother in the movie! woot That was unexpected! Smilie
