No. Only dewalt 12v batteries.

Just make sure that it's a 12v tool and not 20v. A lot of people don't care for the dewalt 12v line but for me I like it. I bought this ratchet for 79.99 I think a month or so ago at Lowe's and it was nice but I choose not to keep it and instead hold out for one with the swappable anvil to come on sale someday.

I'd say it's worth it if you need one but just keep in mind it's often on sale for $99 or under bare tool.

I wanted to note that many people claim these aren't compatible with an adapter, which is only partly accurate. I used this with a 20v to 12v adapter successfully . The only issue where the trigger required either a slow press to reach top speed or a quick press, release, and repeat. It was odd, yet I noticed no impact on the ratchets power during use. In fact, performance seemed slightly better with the adapter on a five amp 20v battery than with the standard dewalt 2ah I owned. The tool extends a bit at the end, but given my usage, it was a non-issue. Just wanted to let people know and the trigger thing is almost unknowable when you get used to it.

that is a petty. 60 ft lb is better than cheap milwalkee ratchet (35 ft lb).
