If you compare it's breakaway power side by side with a milwaukee, I'd say it's closer to a mid torque(I have both). But it's still a pretty good deal. If you're working on rusty siezed in bolts, get a milwaukee. If you're lucky and don't see much rust, this will be perfect!

The ridgid claims 1300 ft/lbs of nut busting torque. That's mid-range? Is it not up to that spec in your experience?

Mine doesn't seem to have that. The milwaukee took the nut right off first try though. All I was doing was taking the 2 mount bolts off of a brake caliper on my 03 duramax. Long story short I would put the high torque ridgid somewhere halfway to 3/4 between the high and mid torque milwaukee impacts.
