Last time I ordered this for $290 it came in a sealed original pox. The phone still had the paper wrap on and Google warrently was valid until 7/27. I don't see the $290 price anymore but $388 is also a decent price for this.

Looks like a slick enough deal for enough people, says it's sold out.

Specs aren't bad, should be getting 1 to 2 more OS updates before EOL. I would have considered picking one up if it were sub-$300, would make a pretty nice Android mini tablet.

It's interesting that there are still a lot of these things out there. When this came out 3 yrs ago, I remember it wasn't well received and got pretty deep discounts to get units to move. For their 2nd generation foldable, Google basically had to give up on the passport style and instead adopt the tall/slim style the rest of the foldable segment had settled on as the standard/dominant style.

If iPhone Duo really takes off, we're about to see a paradigm shift from tall/slim style to passport style as the standard for the foldable segment. We're already starting to see that with the Samsung Galaxy Fold 8 outselling the tall/slim Fold 8 Ultra.

For $290 it's great deal if you want a folding phone given that it's basically brand new with a warranty covering until 7/27. Battery life is decent, speakers are great. Camera is good enough for casual pictures. One big disadvantage is the weight.

With Woot, it's sort of a mix bag where the item is coming from. It's either through Amazon's warehouse via Amazon's logistic network and delivery trucks, or if it's through Woot's own warehouses or drop ship, they're ship it out through traditional shipper like UPS/FedEx/USPS.

Yeah it normally takes that long, they ship it after a week and then a week for the phone to get to the destination.
