Website says $80 + tax. Not sure how you posted $55+ tax/month. Could you please clarify?

On Verizon website, it mentioned as below
Get iPhone 18 Pro, plus a new iPhone every year with Simplicity Plan, when you switch. Just $80/mo with Auto Pay. | Pre-order | Details

Nothing slick about the deal. It's a standard switch to this cell company deal.

At&T and T-Mobile have similar "deals"

Hi, T-Mobile offers $5 Off per line up to 8 lines for Auto Pay. From my experience, T-Mobile is not the same level of coverage. I have both services.

So at the end of 3 years if you wanted to switch, do you keep the phone or give it back?

Is it me or is Simplicity Pro the stupidest thing ever? I just went through a simulated checkout process, and there is the ability to get a "free" iPhone 18 Pro (after 3 years).

Here's out it looks:
  • Simplicity Plan = $30/month (includes $10 autopay + $15 switcher)
  • Then you add +$50/month for Simplicity Pro (basically 2 days of International Roaming per month, and "the ability to upgrade to an iPhone every year)
  • Then you add the iPhone 18 Pro ($33/month for 36 months)
    • But the Promo says you get the phone for "free", so there is a Bill Credit of $33/mo for 36 months
In the end, you don't pay "$80 - $33 bill credits". You pay:
  • $30 (plan) + $50 (flex upgrade "perk") + $0 ($33 phone - $33 bill credits ) = $80/month??
So you're paying $50 a month just for the "opportunity" to upgrade in 1 year? You're paying $600 just to turn in your phone and start the stupid cycle again? Like WTF??? I went all the way to the end of the checkout process just to have those idiots at Verizon try and trick you to add a stupid $50/month perk for NO RATIONAL REASON????

What a scam!!!!!
