I have had these for about a year. I hate them compared to Tile. Batteries drain super fast and they always disconnect, constantly need to reset them with battery removal and button press and repair them. Really annoying . May take a hammer to them. I cant recommend them to anyone who values their sanity.

Rating not helpful for someone who gives their honest opinion is dbag. An honest opinion from a Slickdeal old timer in no way is unhelpful, unless you are a shill.

I am using 5 of them for over a year with an S25.

Pros:
- having dedicated ring to attach to keychains without cases
-black color option (white gets dirty instantly)
-option to ring your phone by double tapping the tag (did not use to work until one ui 8.5 update for me, but works now, amazing feature for me)
-location history: let's you track for a week in recent history, helps track where it has been to help you remember when you lost an item

Cons:
-samsung exclusive, no other brand of android can utilize them
-low accuracy to find your device back (probably because Apple has 3 times the market share of Samsung and pinpoints airtags better)
-lower quality plastic (the one I keep in my car started separating into two layers)

With that, I think $12 per tag is a pretty good deal.

I have them on all my keychains and cars. My airtags used to pinpoint my car location every time at Costco parking lot, but samsung one is wrong half the time (yes I have fish memory and have trouble finding my car after shopping for only 30 mins).

If you are willing to install your own APK and a bit of DIY, you can use these with other Android phones too:

I've used this on all 5 of my SmartTag2's with success on my Google Pixel phone. The hardest part will be the initial pairing, which can take multiple tries.

Have these and the older version and love them. Ring volume is 2 or 3x louder than my wife's airtags. Newer version has longer battery life and easier to change batteried

I personally tried these SmartTag2 trackers, and the biggest problem is Samsung's limited tracking network in the US. Unlike Apple AirTags, which benefit from a massive network of nearby Apple devices, SmartTag2 relies on compatible Samsung Galaxy phones to detect and update locations.

In my experience, location updates were unreliable because there simply weren't enough participating Samsung devices nearby. What's the point of a tracker if it can't reliably locate your belongings?

$47 is not a deal if the tracking network is ineffective. Unless you're sure Samsung's tracking network works well in your area, I'd avoid these. If you use an iPhone, buy Apple AirTags instead.

These do NOT sell for a 100 dollars. I have a set and they are semi useful as they dont at times tell you exact location. But good got checked luggage... or leave one in a car to see car's location etc.

My batteries are from a year ago still showing almost full.
