If I recall last Black Friday the s25 was 800 with the Galaxy earbuds though I think that might have been the 256 version. Might be worth waiting to see what the s26 gets down to this Black Friday along with add-ons

The supply is limited. People are concerned with s26 ultra privacy display giving worse colors, brightness, viewing angles and text clarity. Best Buy stopped selling the S25 Gen in the last couple of months; it is really hard to find new US versions from reputable sellers. You can try to buy from the Samsung website, but the price there is ridiculous; it's less than a $100 difference from the S26 Gen. They don't promote any deals for the S25, but the S26 has at least $200 off half the time I checked. I assume the best you can get on black friday is around $800.00 for the S25 Ultra 512 GB, with very limited color options and huge discounts for the S26 Ultra. But in all honesty, the S26 Ultra is the device Samsung has to pay customers to use; even if you don't notice the clarity and color/brightness issues, they are still there and will strain your eyes more long-term compared to the S25 Ultra. Also, the way the camera bump makes the phone unstable on flat surfaces is a joke.

Definitely not the best deal, but since it is Woot with the Amazon return policy and they have the rose gold, which is Samsung online only and is a nice-looking color, I decided not to risk waiting for Black Friday. The other option is to save about $200 and play the refurb lottery. I gave it a shot and got something in much worse condition than I expected, had to return. Since I have no idea if the refurbishers did a good job, used original parts, reglued the black plate properly, etc. I don't like the idea of saving $200 just to gamble with the quality of an expensive gadget. However, buying 3-4 times from BackMarket hoping to eventually get a like-new device, sounds reasonable, but I just don't want to spend that much time and still not know if the refurbisher had to replace or repair internal parts.

Will be as expensive as other competitors due to "RAM prices", rumored to have the same privacy display, and most likely nothing worth enough upgrading from the S24-25 Ultras. Might be worth considering if they get rid of the privacy display and if you want to buy a new device to keep for the next 3+ years; otherwise, most likely another gen to skip

I'm not going to go with the ultra version. I pretty sure that the 26 plus doesn't have that privacy screen. So I'm going to wait and see what Black Friday has to offer
