Shin Noodle Soup is a spicy, savory instant ramen that stands out for bold flavor and easy customization. The black variety gets praise for taste, while the red is described as even more savory and cheaper. Cooking tweaks like using less seasoning, half the water, milk, American cheese, or a little ketchup can soften the heat and change the broth. The main cautions are very high sodium, intense spice, and Amazon grocery expiration dates that can be a gamble. A solid pantry staple if you like heat and do not mind adjusting it to taste.

I splurged for some Korean made Black early last year. Definitely an upgrade on the USA made but not worth the price difference after shipping $ from Korea. This was before tariffs
