These OLED TVs are so thin and fragile. They are also not in a strong protective box. Risky?

you raise a good point. I remember moving my OLED B2 and I dented the side without within knowing. The "fair" conditional is worrysome

Worth contacting and asking about the condition. They can tell you if it's a return/demo model and why it's listed in the condition it is. I bought a Fair C3 2 years ago for the same price and it was just missing the stand (had 0 on time hours and the display was perfect). Still doing great.

While I can't speak on LG's packing methods, my Samsung S90F was well protected. Unfortunately, because they are so thin and unprotected at the top, I cannot move the TV alone and need another person to help me move it.

Meanwhile, I can manhandle the crap out of my Vizio 70" by myself without issue.

I think he's talking about the fact that these don't come in a box/or come in a non-original box. This is what scared me away from grabbing a TCL 98" open box, I would've had to haul it 2hr in an open truck bed somehow 😬

yeah also the fact that you cannot find out anything about the actual condition until you are in store cause best buy routes through a communications center and its impossible to reach someone locally....

Found an OLED TV deal at Bestbuy in the past. When I went to pickup the guy that worked there told me a few people bought it and returned it already as there is screen burn in. Ended up the tv was a promo tv looked like it was on 24/7 as it had a Bestbuy logo and writing burnt into screen.

Did you check if the frame was bent? Cause bentgate is real with my Samsung OLED s95B.

This is now a huge concern about LG. They also gather info from hard drives across your whole network.. contacts.. record all habits. and pretty much learn to take advantage of everyone in your house.
