Is Five Guys really that good?

A Five Guys burger joint just opened today in my area....the first in CA, I believe. I'm dying to go check it out. Maybe this weekend. Is all the hype justified?drool

They're very good. Good quality burgers and excellent fries. Lots of toppings to choose from too, and prices are fair for what you get.

Tell In & Out to build a joint here in Jersey to even things out!

IMO they are somewhat different. We just got Five Guys here like a year ago, I LOVE it. But if we had In-N-Out here, I'd probably go to In-N-Out more.

But it's definitely worth a try. I haven't had In-N-Out in years, so it's hard for me to compare.

Yeah, I'm not down with In & Out's fries too. The burgers are pretty good....not the absolute best I've ever had. Because, a lot of ppl in CA make it out like In & Out is like the end-all in the burger discussion. So, I like to use that as a gauge.

There simply is no comparison. The only comparison is that they both serve "hamburgers", but it stops there.

In & Out is good for the price, sure. But Five Guys is a whole 'nother league. The burgers are the most tastiest burgers you will ever eat in a chain, bar none.
