Just don't go looking for trouble laugh out loud Fire coral is no joke. It's more like a jellyfish than a coral, and it's a bitch to deal with.

Stupid question but how long was it (your best guess) from getting the wound to getting treatment?

We were snorkeling in Grand Cayman on Tuesday afternoon and I got to the ER Sunday night at 8:00 PM, so better than 5 days.

I guess I got lucky then. I scraped my foot snorkeling in Hawaii and didn't get an infection.
