Sooooooooo. I could totally care less what's in the K-cups LMAO They taste good. I can't barely drink regular pot coffee anymore....tastes too watery and just ick. I like Starbucks and stuff just not from coffee makers at home, church, etc. But to me the k-cups taste more like what you'd get at Starbucks or some of the other local coffee shops here....so I dunno Dontknow

I had a relaxing weekend. Things are gonna start getting crazy in about 12 hrs. so I have rested up laugh out loud

Okay, so my niece had the weirdest wedding.. well, to me anyway.. They hyped about this location and how hard it was to book. She booked over a year ago and had to accept the Sunday afternoon slot because she couldn't get a Saturday.. Anyway, basically it was a community building kinda place right beside the lake. Well, she did decide last minute to have the ceremony indoors (which meant I didn't sweat, or so I thought Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)) So, we enter the building and I am basically thinking I am in the wrong place. It had nice windows with a pretty view, but otherwise it was nothing but a big room.. And, there were no decorations, no ribbon, candles, flowers,nothing OMG We all just sat in these little plastic chairs and kept looking around a wondering.. but, it really was the location.. she walked down a very short aisle, they said the vows, and the ceremony was over in 8 minutes! No songs or anything.
So, then they sent us all outside in the heat while they set up for the reception.. we were in the heat for over an hour.. we actually ended up leaving before the reception started.. It was late and my DD was hot and tired as well, so we hit the road. And, they ran out of drinks outside other than alcoholic ones, and we don't drink shake head

SO, TN.. I did come home sweaty.. so I figured I should go ahead and get a few things done. Cleaned out my van, vaccuumed it.. and then I just finished scrubbing my bathroom.. It was so dirty! Glad it is done Smilie


And, the good news.. My DD is on night #4 of going to bed like a good girl. She has been asleep within 10 minutes the last 2 nights.. So, something is working!

i like the bold coffee flavor, that probably explains why i like freshly brewed. totally agree with you that we all have different tastes - what matters is we all find a brew worth the brouhaha laugh out loud

thanks for the decaf info! next time i'm at the grocery store, i'll get a little bit and try brewing it in a french press.

i love, love, love the starbucks pikes peak blend. i wish they made it in decaf.
but otherwise, my go to ones in flavored coffee were hazelnut, french vanilla, vanilla mocha, and chocolate raspberry. hazelnut is my to-die-for flavor. i never like cream or sugar or sweet syrups in my coffee. i drink it black, so the flavored beans just added a little something.

i now drink a decaf green tea... i like it, but it does give me a very vague shadowy feeling of caffeine headachiness. i can't explain it, i just sense it there. ditto with the decaf earl grey. those were my two fav teas in the caffeinated versions, so i made it a point to find something. the herbal teas don't do that to me. maybe i need to experiment with different brands.
but i'm excited to try the decaf coffee. i really miss my coffee.

It's been a long, boring weekend here. I was going to check out T today but wasn't feeling well so I stayed home and did pretty much, nothing. Waiting for monkey toddler to go to sleep because I was up until 4 am this morning. I'm so dragged out.

Item #1 - Place Keurig and K-cups on floor of van.
Item #2 - Remove Keurig and K-cups and place on new kitchen counter.

Happy moving! We've got a little better weather for moving than we had a couple weeks ago.

Morning, everyone! Wave Nice, slow, quiet morning around here. Just the kind I like. Big Grin School is starting 2 weeks from today, so I have to enjoy it while I can!

Hoping to hit 3 HTs today, we'll see if that happens. Hubby's schedule changed and he now works 10hr days on Monday and Tuesday, so I try to not go out once he gets home. Which means I need to get my tush moving!!

morning!

raining again today. it's been hot and dry for so long i really don't mind...except for the flooding i know is going on nearby at the canal. luckily i don't go to that area much but very rarely it will be so bad it will affect the main road. but no police alerts so far so i think all is good. which is good b/c i need to run some errands.

more housecleaning and clutterbusting is on today's agenda.

Hope everyone is doing great! Just got back from vacation in the Florida Keys. We had a lot of fun. Luckily the house we rented had a pool and that was the reason my boys loved it so much...without the pool, they would not have had much fun at all. We netted about 100 lobster over the course of the week. yummy Considering the limit is 6 per day/person, it wasn't that impressive of a haul but this year, jellyfish were everywhere in the water. When I say everywhere, you could see at least 50 at any given moment on the boat. Everyone got stung a few times...my sister got it the worst; on the face which was super swollen and already scabbed. It didn't really deter us too much...the kids just didn't spend much time in the ocean. Back to reality though today. I was supposed to send the boys to school today (not their regular day) but the director called me this morning and said they couldn't come b/c of teachers out sick and they would be over-ratio. That was a bummer as I planned to shop & spend a large part of the hundreds of coupons waiting my return from vacation Wink oh well. my house needs my attention too...I forgot the disaster of a condition we left it in.

Hope all is well w/ you TCCers. Hopefully I will be able to catch up throughout the day. Blowkiss

ETA: M2C: hope you have an easy trip home. It took us about 7 hours to get home but thankfully the boys slept about an hour and were pretty content otherwise! Thankful for Toddler Radio on Pandora...

Jealous of your lobsters!! laugh out loud

I had a friend who was on vacation last week in FL and she complained of the jellyfish too. They weren't able to get in the water hardly at all because of it, and they were on the beach, not on a boat. Wonder what abundance of jellyfish means? Bad hurricane season? EEK! JK

OK, I think I'm ready to head out. Guess I should get out of my jammies first... Big Grin

That sucks about your friend! I would be very upset if I took a trip and was prevented from doing the one thing we wanted to do the most! The theory was that they are migrating. Hopefully out into the middle of the ocean and away from FL. Although we kind of thought they were breeding. It seems like there were a lot of babies. I hope not. We had to have designated jellyfish spotters at all times but I was so paranoid in the water...It was hard to snorkel and look for lobsters on the bottom while dodging jellyfish. Pray that they're not there next year Smilie
