I think the only decaf I could ever stomach was made in a french press. I like my coffee bold and strong and definitely with the caffeine!

And I spent $38 at Aldi's the other day on produce. Faint I haven't been "real shopping" in ages - only to do some little pick-ups for things here and there. It's added up! Thankfully, life is settling down and I can get back in the groove.

Cate - I think we got rid of the trojans and viruses on DH's computer and the virus on mine. Mine seems to be running perfectly. DH's has some issues still - lots of things not working right, etc... I think it moved/deleted files and we can't do a system restore on it. No clue how to fix the program issues. At some point, we'd like to get a laptop for him - but since we just bought a house that point is a bit further off in the distance!! (unless someone knows how to get a good GOOD one for free! *laugh*)

Hey, ank, good to see you post!

I ended up ordering off ebay, because every single one of the sellers I went to didn't have the coupons in stock that I was looking for. But ... have you ever looked at coupon flea market dot com? If I remember correctly, coupon sellers from ebay have migrated there and the prices are lower. Its kind of like ebay in that its a group of different sellers, but its not auction style, you just pick which seller/price point/etc works for you for each coupon you want. Anyway, you should check it out.

Is anyone getting the Acer this week? I was so tempted to do it, but I just cannot justify the expenditure at this point, and to my knowledge, there aren't any good o scenarios, which is what it would take. Plus my son's birthday is this weekend, so all available pennies are being saved for that.

On a good note - my youngest sister, who will be heading back to college in a couple weeks, has offered to watch my kids every morning the rest of the week so I can go shopping! Faint Whee bounce I told my hubby I will run out of money before then, but oh well!! She will get to shop my stockpile in return, and I will be getting school supplies for her, but that is A-OK.

morning y'all!

i made this for dinner yesterday w/ my very cheap southern style ribs after 2.00 rib q.

i only had a little over a lb and a half of meat so i cut the recipe down to a third of all the ingredients except for the rub. i've made a few crockpot recipes and it looked to me like one reviewer said, needed more rub. so i increased all the rub ingredients to a half teaspoon of each. realized when i was mixing it up i should have done a qtr teaspoon each so i ended up dumping almost half the rub after.

i had everything except teriyaki sauce and didn't feel like running out for it b/c i only needed 4 teaspoons, so i just left it out. i think it came out fine anyway.

cooked it on high until it was falling apart. it was already falling apart at 4hrs but it took me another hr to prepare all the sides. i turned it over for the last hr so the other side would cook in the sauce. i thought it was pretty tasty. of course the sections that were fattier tasted better Wink. but even the lean sections tasted pretty flavorful. dh thought it was fine and finished the rest after i didn't want any more. so no leftovers. next time i will make a bigger batch.

Good morning everyone!!

Got to sleep in a little this morning.. Well, it had many interruptions.. phone calls, alarm going off, etc.. but, I still dozed off and on and didn't actually climb out of the bed until 9:30 bounce Now, I am sipping coffee and enjoying every drop!

Got my new kcups.. decided to stick with 3 flavors I know I like and add one new flavor.. so, today is my coffee review for ya.. I am drinking the praline pecan.. It is pretty good.. hint of cinnamon.. Smooth taste.. but, alot of you wouldn't like it because it is not a strong coffee at all.. I will enjoy it, but it isn't gonna be one of my top 3 I think..
Other than the pecan, I stuck with 3 of my other top favorites.. cinnamon pastry, creme caramel, and german chocolate cake yummy drool

Me too -- probably because I dump half & half in it and it has to be strong for the flavor to come through. Oddly enough, one of my favorite cups of coffee comes from a gas station. Quik Trip or Quik Star (same chain) have a really strong, bold dark roast. Closed one to me is nearly an hour away, and, of course, it's not the hour away where I go to shop. I keep meaning to buy a bag to try at home and just keep right on forgetting. Websites says they have the dark in decaf too but I haven't seen it. At least not made in the stores.

anybody have any feedback on the samsung intensity ll or lg cosmos 2? time to upgrade my phone. i was looking at the virgin mobile $35 unlimited data and 300 minutes but their coverage area is really bad. there is a big dead zone right by the nearest cvs about 5 miles away. so back to verizon.

or if you have any suggestions. i would like a qwerty keyboard more for data entry than anything else. if the data plan is really cheap i would be interested. right now i have a special 29.99 voice only plan from verizon. right now not married to verizon or any phone.

dh uses his phone so little he has ATT pay as you go.

we keep the verizon b/c it has the best coverage.

Crazy here, as expected. BUT I must say everything is going smoothly thus far. Just all the last minute stuff. I am so blessed that everything has gone great. In less than 48 hrs. we will have a new house!! Still can't believe it.

I am averaging like 3 cups of coffee per day right now LMAO Just not enough time to sleep much.
