And I absolutely could not live without my dairy. So if thats whats causing these sinus issues I'm just going to have to deal with it. When you mentioned that a while back I started thinking about my diet. Nearly half my calories are dairy. I think it started when I took antibiotics for a whole summer about 10 years ago-eventually all I could keep down was plain yogurt.
Mini Thrift is the same way with her milk!!! She is actually cutting her Horizon milk with a non dairy alternative to see if that will help with her teen acne.
I know it has been a long long road with many many docs. I just wish there was something relatively easybtat you could do without surgery!
I'd hit up Nikayla, she's pretty smarticle about natural remedies. IMO any natural remedy is worth a try.

yesterday i got rid of almost all the soggy cardboard boxes b/c today is recycle day and they've already hauled it away. there is still more.
today i deal w/ the 18-20gal bins/totes that toppled over and got water in them to varying degrees from a little to totally drenched. at least 3 are yard sale bins. i saw the MIB 4 slice toaster i got 90off at cvs was totally drenched. at least it was 90off. yesterday i plucked out a ziplock bag w/ one of those green glade xmas oil candles and 2 boxes of refills that had a big puddle of water inside the bag! water has gotten under the metal dish at the bottom of the glass *ashtray* and of course won't come out. think it's glued down. will try to pry it up and get the water out or else it's trash. i actually think these would be good to keep around for power outages. i had 2 candles burning while the power was out and you know how the flame goes really low when there is a lot of wax? i only burned the oil candle once but doesn't it melt into a pool of liquid and the flame stays constant?
it does look like another much larger ziplock bag did stay watertight and the candles and stuff stayed dry. fyi- this bin was kinda heavy and still floated and tipped over. obviously everything needs to be elevated on plastic shelving. no pressboard allowed.
not looking forward to going thru my 3 totes of toys and summer mini-seasonal. i will be very sad!
although not as sad as dh probably is. yrs ago he used a box of books to keep some wood furniture parts, etc propped up against the wall and it sat 8inches of water the whole time. ends up inside were his college yearbooks. they are on a table drying off but he thinks they are unsalvageable. i think they could be but would take a lot of work and i don't know if he wants them so bad to do it.
off to unload the washer. and fix the closet door. and fix the faucet. and pull wet stuff out of bins and throw them away. sooooooooo much work to do and my fault that i procrastinated about a lot of it so it's now all backed up.
on tomorrow's agenda is to clean the bins so i can put stuff back in them.
hd- thanks for the offer. i think i'm going to take a break from chasing after deals. so if somebody has just one extra set of q's i would take them just to keep up the wkly grocery shopping. but pls don't anybody send a lot of q's cuz they would be wasted on me.

the toaster... turn upside down, shake well to get out all water you can, then rest upside down on some tall drinking glasses, then prop up a blow dryer on heat setting near the mouth of the toaster. if you can dry it out fully it will be fine. toasters are very simple electrically, and designed to withstand shocks, frozen water etc.
ditto candles... if you hold em up to a blow dryer for a few (on low-medium warmth), the water will evaporate.
bins/elevated shelving.... won't be enough. make sure to figure out a system where there are ties, so the bins are effectively restrained/tied into the shelving and can't float away. something like a strong metal mesh screen, or even super strong zip ties will get it done.
we rescued bags and boxes... they're all piled up here in the hallway and LR. it is TONS and TONS of work. and tedious, exhausting work at that. don't beat yourself up for allegedly procrastinating - you've been going nonstop for several days now. it's natural to get tired and not want to get at it again.
'Cause if this continues to get ugly, some of it will get deleted ... and no one wants to miss that.

Got some good news yesterday. It looks like they finally got their poop in a group and my daughter will be able to close on her house next Friday. That is, unless something else crops up. Waiting for the final ok from her attorney but there was only one issue on the Title Opinion and that is what they just resolved. This means lots of stuff leaves mama's house. Of course it also means mama gets to help paint and all kinds of other stuff.
Bunnies --- I really need to stay off of Barking Deals. I ordered Heidi today's deal, the Tugga Wubba too. We need a new tug toy. The last one she had was the knotted rope and she sort of destroyed it... um them. We have had a few. I have cleaned out her toy basket though. Anything that she doesn't play with I took out and laid on the floor next to it just to see if she has any interest in it. She doesn't. So today, they go bye bye and we only keep the stuff she plays with regularly.
Ok, off to shop for a little battery for my fish finder. We borrowed one last time to see if it's the kind we want. It is. Now I need to buy my own.
morning everyone
Hilarious. So glad no one on SD is stalking me!
We found out last Thursday that she had passed away in utero, just shy of 25 weeks. I was admitted into L&D on Friday and had her a little after midnight on Saturday morning. She was 13 ounces and looked perfect. We don't know exactly what caused her to pass, but she had Downs Syndrome, a resolved Cystic Hygroma, and potentially 2 heart defects. We are very sad and miss Hope Elizabeth.
I was able to go home before the hurricane, but we ended up losing power for 3 days. Setsail has been a great friend and sent some great resources to help me deal with this.
I'm still recovering from childbirth, but hope to be out and about by this weekend. I am in desperate need of shopping to keep my mind off everything going on.
Hugs to everyone who has supported me through these difficult and crazy months. It's hard to believe it's only been 3 months since this all started.
