Ton of clearance everywhere. I think they are starting to clear out the store to get ready for the Holiday season. And then there will be a clearance drought until January. My one target had a ton of that Missoni stuff. I thought the rain boots were cute. But the only time I wear rainboots is when I help my dad move cows from one pasture to another. I already get picked on enough when I wear my pink polka dotted Target rainboots. LMAO

I agree with not using 'brand new eggs' - but really, those eggs on the shelf are NOT all that 'brand new'. Put salt in the water as you're boiling and when they are done, run some cold water into the pan of hot water (with the eggs still in there) - this 'stops the cooking process' (same thing with al dente pasta) and I think this process helps loosen the membrane that keeps the egg stuck to the shell. Peel while still warm - I usually peel them under cool running water right into the garbage disposal. You shouldn't have to wait a whole week for HB eggs Smilie

Thanks for the tips. I agree with the fact that the eggs are probably not 'new' anyways. I mean really how do we ever know how long since that eggs been hatched. LOL..
You all are probably thinking, this is alot of concern over a stupid hard boiled egg. LMAO
But I am just tired of boiling a dozen and losing half of them due to them being 'peeled apart' just trying to get them out the stinkin shells.

So keeping this somewhat Target related. I am going to Target tomorrow evening and I have no idea what is out there deal wise. Like GT said, Are we missing anything?? or are there just no real good deals this week.
Could possibly be the fact that I really don't 'need' anything.. My coupon binder (not really a binder more of an envelope lol) is looking really lean.

had a checkup after his left eye surgery the other day, blood is absorbing, but his brain needs to re-wire. I keep bugging SIL for baby bump pics, she says she is much bigger this time around. She's a stringbean, so that is a good thing! Trevor's right eye will be done on 10/13, right before his first birthday! I am shopping all ready! heart

WF thread has some great grocery matchups for this week.
produce... i was just in there today. this just doesn't seem like a good produce week at WF. there were no big sales on produce that i noticed today. but check their online flier - they usually highlight produce sales there and see if anything appeals to you there.

i'm a WF fanatic laugh out loud and a produce fanatic yummy and still, this seemed like a meh-priced week.

i have found that if i try to peel the eggs when they are hot, the membrane gets stuck.
if i let the eggs cool some and run cold water on them to cool the shell, then i can peel off the shell and then pull away the membrane.

lukewarm or cool works best for me when peeling the eggs. we eat boiled eggs every week, and i, too got sick of having pieces come off, so then it was a trial and error process for me.

I forgot I 'got' some Kohl's q's from the 'bay that expire tomorrow. They are from a seller I have never used before, and the links are blocked at work! Anyway, won't get to use them all, can forward the links to someone if they want to try and print. I think it is blocked because our IT dept thinks the site is for gaming? Ugh.
