I am so sad.....just refilled my k-cup holder thingie with my last 30 or so k-cups Crying

We do have the SoloFill things that you put reg. coffee in but I don't like the taste as well....still better than pot coffee to me. Anybody know of a stellar deal on k-cups that's still going on? They are just too darn pricey for me at reg. price but I do love them.

Thinking of maybe just getting a french press.....I hear those make yummy coffee!!

No deal on K-cups that I know of, however, I did just receive 4 boxes from Keurig yesterday. I registered my brewer again and got the B2G2 deal, about $30 for 4 flavors of my choice, and the big boxes of 24.

I do love my single serve Bodum french press, but I get lazy to grind the beans and make it that way. Once I do though, it's really not much trouble, the Keurig is just so much easier though.

I neeeeeeeeeed to do this deal again but I'm trying to wait until we move and get resettled. I have a feeling there are K-cups hiding around here somewhere and I just haven't found them yet.

He is great!!! The doctor is setting me up with an appt with a developmental delayed specialist because I think something is not quite right with him. He is almost 2 and can only say about 5 words clearly. Other than that he is tall and skinny and getting into everything...

Oh - bizarre thing... I had some bee allergy testing friday and did not react to any of it. It was so strange because I've reacted in the past and was on shots for a short time - not to mention the severe reactions I've had when actually stung. However, it has been a few years (at least 5 or so) since my last sting and doc said that it is possible my body just won't react as badly. I still need to carry an epi pen just in case since I've had life threatening reactions before, but it seems like I may have possibly lost that allergy. Weird! But a good weird!
Cool! My mom has had some of her allergies lessen in severity over the years. I can't wait until they finally figure out what causes all these allergies and how to overcome them. Glad that you found this out!!

I have been using my K-cup filter for a while now and I really like it. I have some Starbucks Christmas blend coffee I got cheap this past year, plus some Dunkin Donuts decaf, and they are awesome in my Keurig. I pretty much fill the whole filter with it and it brews a great cup of coffee. It does dispense the coffee very awkwardly, and I have to position my cup just right to make sure I "catch" the majority of the coffee. Teehee Otherwise there's a mess on my counter!

The price has really gone up on K-cups. I think the only deal, besides registering your machine, is at BB&B with a 20% coupon, or using a Kohl's coupon. Frown

We've had some behavioral & borderline developmental issues with our 2 yo. I starte him on the Feingold diet a little over 5 weeks ago and he is truly a new kid. His speech & communication has improved dramatically. I know you adopted were they issues with the birth mother using? I'm sorry, I don't recall what the situation was.

Did you check both the coffee aisle and the keurig coffeemaker aisle? There are a lot of different types. Maybe not 40 though.
Yeah, they have them in 2 spots in my store as well.. But, I don't like most of the choices they have.. I have gotten spoiled to all the fancy choices online Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

My hummingbird feeder has been busy. There's never been more than one at a time, but I know there are at least two that are frequenting it. Could be more, but it's not like I can tell them apart! I just know there are two for sure because one is bigger than the other. They should be leaving soon, I hope they return in the spring.

Sometimes my husband cracks me up. Last night I asked him if he had any ideas for food to take on our trip -- for out in the boat and stuff for supper. Told him I can also prepare things ahead and just stick it in the oven. We eat out some but do like to have stuff around if we don't wanna leave -- without packing huge amounts of stuff. Anyway... I ask him if he has any ideas, he thinks a minute and says, "corndogs". I couldn't stop laughing. I don't know why They fit the bill -- quick, easy, we both like them... but for reason I found it hilarious. Maybe I need to get out more!

DD and I went shopping Saturday. She found new bedding for her bed room and her guest room. A few things were on clearance at Target, so that was nice but not a one of them would work with the 20% coupons. She got the paint for both bedrooms, the living room and kitchen/dining room. Remember the damask shower curtains and shabby chic rose curtain rings from the bathroom coupon that are going to be living room and kitchen/dining curtains? She got the curtain rods too. Needed pretty ones since they will show. Found some brushed nickle at Wal-Mart that were a half way decent price -- still too much but at least they weren't $25 - $30 a piece.

We've been patching and sanding walls. Living room is done and cleaned up and ready for primer. The two bedrooms are almost done. I have to sand and then it needs cleaned. They didn't need near as much as the living room so the mess isn't half as bad either. They will clean up pretty quickly.

We've gotten the basement all dried up and a couple windows opened down there so it's airing out. There's still a faint musty basement smell but another few days and it should be gone. The upstairs is (and has been) all aired out and smells fine.

Then only really big project that's going to happen in there is a new kitchen ceiling and it's ready to put the drywall up. Someone has put ceiling tile in. When you do that, you have to have wood strips every foot to staple the tiles to. If we were to pull all those strips down (they are 1" x 2"s) chances are we would pull down the ceiling -- it's plaster, not sheetrock. So, the strips are staying. DH has screwed them. leveled some stuff, shimmed some stuff and the drywall will go right over it and screw into that.

It's going to go slowly because of the hours DD is working. They are working 10 hours most days (M - F) and 8 or 10 most Saturdays. There is a rumor floating around they are going to 7 days a week soon -- possibly through the end of the year. It's not that we can't work on it without her, and some of it we will, but she does want to do stuff to her own house! If she wants me to prime or help her dad with drywall, etc. I will but when it's time to actually pop the top of the real paint and roll that color on... well, you know how exciting that is. She needs to be there. Geez, talk about babbling!

The extended forecast still looks really good for our trip -- about 80 degrees every day except the last full fishing day, it shows 59. I hope it does what it says. That's just way warmer than we were usual. Oh yeah, I'll take it. But just in case, I will still be packing my flannel lined jeans and a sweatshirt.

My almost 4 year old was extremely delayed in speech. Yesterday, I was actually watching a video I took of him and I remarked that he was 26 months and said about 20 words. I remember that even with the number I was exaggerating, it was more like 10 words. Have you had his hearing checked? Has he had a lot of ear infections? My son had a few and had tubes put in and within a month, his speech & vocabulary skyrocketed.

Now sometimes, I wish that he would stop talking for a few minutes!! laugh out loud

Help!!! I have lost my Target mojo! I just can't get motivated to go to Target! Partly because I rarely have the hotspot so I haven't been online much at all. I did get some Qs together a few times for my neighbor and set her up with some coupon runs and had her get me some stuff too. But I really need to get back couponing again to get our pantry stocked back up. And we could all use some new clothing, my kids grow to fast. If I admit it has been almost 2 months since I have used a coupon at Target will I get booted Embarrassment ? I stopped once to get a scrip refill and milk.

Kids all develop at different stages, there are many who are outside the 'norm' my 2 yr old lil guy is a huge chatter box but you can only understand about every third to fifth word. You are right to follow your motherly instincts, moms are usually the first ones to first realize when something is not right with their kids.
love2beeamom, sounds like you had a fun trip and I need to work toward getting some restaurant GC for eating out! Then DH and I could actually go out once in a while. Sounds like you have a fun vacation planned too, have fun.

Gator, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!! hug

Are these holes in plaster walls then or drywall?? I've gotta fix the hole in my kitchen from the plumbing being fixed still. Home warranty company sent a small check but I think I am going to try to fix it myself first....any tips?

Have fun on your trip!
