too bad the links didn't copy. i've been to john's pizzeria b4. it's in the heart of greenwich village where they have lots of cute restaurants, cafes and shops and it's close to washington sq park w/ the arch which is in the middle of NYU.
i'd never heard of lombardi's until i saw it on tv a few yrs ago.
It's that stupid show. Someone called my fave store and asked them to take every.single.diaper off the shelf last week for the GC deal so they could come in and buy them with the MQ and TQ. Really? The mgr of the LSD's was super pissed and of coarse said no and limited them to 3 diapers.
went apple picking yesterday w/ in-laws. me and dh picked about 30lbs of golden delicious (generally larger than the supermarket ones but the skin is rougher), red delicious (rounder than supermarket ones), crispin (those are giant!), empire (pretty small), dh picked one stayman winesap and 4 mystery apples (the unlabeled rows were not ready for picking but his family can't follow any of the signs).
For my VA peeps, we are heading to Carter Mountain orchard this weekend. It's in Charlottesville, Va and is well known in this area. I can't wait for an apple cider dougnut.

The nerve of some people. I haven't done wags in over a year, but I never cleared a shelf. I was too scared to even ask to do two transactions at once. I would just drive store to store. I have 10 wags in my area, so no matter where I am going, I usually passed one.
I'm hoping this is a passing fad, but I'm afraid that this trend will completely destroy couponing. Bad things are coming to the Target in my area including restrictions and coupon matching. They have always been awesome, but not for much longer.
On a good note, I spent 2 hours in the kids playroom purging toys. It felt really good to get rid of stuff. Just in time to get more for the coming holidays.
I wonder if they chose "66" for $8/1 or if it is an "00" requiring price input every time. I hope it's not an "00" - those are such a pain!
NVM: it's a "66"

i've been to 1 through 6.
i don't think John's qualifies as 1.
and I don't think Regina's should get a 4, either. they're good, thin crust, fresh tomato sauce. cheesy. and super salty and greasy. great as a greasy pizza slice. but 4? nope.

i hardly ever use flour so i stopped buying so i never have flour at home so i never make stuff that requires flour. vicious cycle. one time my brother made a quick apple tart, it was delicious but i don't have any flour to make the crust. actually the same thing w/ butter. we use about a lb a yr, maybe less.
maybe i'll buy phyllo dough and make apple strudel. i have raisins, i think i have cinnamon and i do have one stick of butter that hopefully will last till thanksgiving when there will be a good sale. i think i'm going to end up babysitting bff's kids at least twice a wk from oct 20 till thanksgiving. that would be a nice project to keep them busy and plenty of people to eat it. and hopefully they'll eat it b/c they made it.
i could make baked apples.....i have raisins and target clearanced brown sugar. hmmm, another kiddie project.....

and then i went to the supermarket and got a newer cashier who didn't quite know what she was doing. she put in my free herbal essence q for the price of my frozen ravioli which was only 1.49 while my shampoo was 2.99. then she got confused w/ the free pantene q, so she was scrolling up and down looking for the items and she didn't understand all the abbreviations. deja vu!
your wish came true! went to target today to check out the leggings, look for travel games, get the nivea body wash, cat treats and use up some q's. for the first time ever, cashier checked every coupon against the computer screen, scrolling up and down to find each one. how annoying!

Why is it that when I read two posters posts in the Target Deals thread, I think of the word SPOON.
Yes, I know it's a deal thread, but do folks really need a SPOON for every.single.deal?
ooh, who are we being catty about? i'm not good at guessing. need some more hints.
eating a red delicious apple that was picked on sunday and can i say its a rather boring apple w/ a tough skin? no wonder i was never crazy about apples to begin w/ since that's pretty much what i grew up w/. it doesn't have any depth of flavor. like drinking apple juice compared to drinking apple cider. not much taste. dh says he like red delicious so he'd better eat them. now i'm wishing i'd picked more of the empire. no wonder there was only one row of red delicious in the whole huge orchard. i'm planning to go apple picking one more time b4 the season is over and get some different varieties.
ST, my personal favorite is a Roma apple. I much prefer the flavor of that one, and the skin isn't too tough, nor is the flesh mealy.
Guess Target is slow this week. I didn't even see much going on in the T thread, lots of complaints about the leggings. I looked at a pair of those earlier this week and thought wow, those are cut skimpy.
