Speaking of nephews - I sent my nephew the information about the Authority cat food being $5.99 at Petsmart / 99 cents after $5 coupon [authoritypetnutrition.com] He said they let him use the coupon on the $4.99 dog treats too.

oh I have some of those that I printed that expire 10/23... better get to shopping! laugh out loudMy cats like the Authority, don't know how I passed it up all this time. They have a type without corn, for animals that are corn-sensitive. And to think, I've been paying $12 or more for a bag of another corn-free brand.

I think the coupon is good until December, but the Petsmart sale price ends 10/23.
Maybe you can get your son to remember sale dates for you. Wink
My son can't remember to bring the trash bin in - but he remembers people's phone numbers forever............

Thank you for posting this! We don't have pets, but dd's Girl Scout troop has "adopted" our town's animal shelter, and savings on pet food means they get more donations from the troop. Wink

Hi everyone - quick question about the target card they are always pushing on me (cashiers seem almost desperate sometimes) to apply for.

They tell me all I need to do is give them a check to scan.

But does this do a credit check? What is this card really about?

If it gives 5%, I could use that on all the cat food I buy there, it would really add up.

ME EITHER! I bought a 2005 Mazda MPV last August with 107,000 on it.. I now have $184K on it and the most expensive thing I have done (outside of tires) is a sensor for $341.. I LOVE this thing!!

I just read a post on AFC that said the coupon is not valid (someone emailed them to ask). Another person said their store manager said it was not valid because they don't give coupons to new customers and it has a long expiration date. That seems odd - because I used them for the first time today - and I am sure Petsmart has received a lot of them.

You can also get a coupon at the company website HERE [authoritypetnutrition.com]. Click on the get $5 coupon link and it takes you to a page that lets you put your name in and the coupon prints with your name. It says 2 per computer, but will print to PDF. And it lets you print more than 2 times. I entered my name, my son's name, and my nephew's name - and had no problem printing coupons.By the way - it is also has a long expiration date. There are two different red cards- the traditional credit card type, and the debit card type. If you are applying for the debit card, yes they scan a check plus you verify info on the keypad (the one used when you pay by credit/ debit card). You do get 5% off every purchase, not sure if it is before or after coupons.

That is really odd since the coupon is still up! Maybe the managers just don't want to deal with it. The managers were probably misinformed, in the least. Misinformed being my nice way of saying, bat poop crazy. laugh out loud
