Which one would you get if you could choose? LOL.....I have had the Rebel 300D and now have the Rebel XSI (i think that is the one I have..DD uses it and I haven't seen it in awhile LOL). Anyone know anything about these or have first hand knowledge of which one would be the best?

you just need to figure out where you are on the sales "wave" darling. you're several weeks after the west coasters start up, so when you see the first reports on the thread from CA, OR, WA folk, don't go racing into your store looking for it and feel disappointed. just file away mentally to look for it in store 2-3 weeks later.
talk about the whole foods deal, it is always big bummer for me. Not even a single deal can be had... Usually I hit WF especially for the bread, now i buy them at wegmans, Thanks to slowtech, i am having a bunch of Rudi's coupons and i dont have to worry about..
May be I should call them each week to find which wave i am in

I have Nikon D90, it is nice and my BIL recently got D300, and i love that too..
nooooooo, no calling about waves. no calling.
go to the thread, pick any 1-2 deals, note the first day it was listed and location.
then just call for a price check on those items 1 a week for the next 2-3 weeks. bingo.
that's all it takes.
you'll instantly know where you are in the wave. it just takes a few weeks of studying the price trends to figure out the wave.
OR another idea. go online to the WF site. pick 2 stores on the west coast. see what deals their flyers have for this week. save the fliers to your machine with date.
save your fliers from your store's site for this week and next 2 weeks. compare.
most stores advertise the sale in the first week they have it on sale, and those sale prices generally hold for 2 weeks (holiday season special item sales have a different schedule). so that's it, no calling anyone, no guessing. on the privacy of your computer, just compare fliers from a couple of weeks and you'll know.
no one taught me the wave. i figured out the theory after looking at the sales reports on the thread for several weeks. i'm pretty sure you and I are in the same wave, though we're separate regions, our regions are clustered together for sales inventory/distribution purposes it seems. it would make sense.
i generally get the sales 2 weeks after the CA folks report it. try that.
eta: i've been to wegman's. many years ago, in upstate new york. long before they became this natural phenomena. they were huge, like a giant wondrous paradise of foods from all over the world. but this was years ago. i was a teenager, and the "organic" movement hadn't taken off. still it was a very interesting and cool place then.

exactly what is the point of making somebody's voting history public knowledge? that everybody can see exactly what i'm doing and where i'm going on sd every second? i don't even want to be told what i did a minute ago. i already know.

And worse yet, where before you could tell who was visiting your page, now you longer can see that.
Which means people can snoop on you, and because of you, they can check in on your friends, and you wouldn't even know who'd looking in on you.
Sigh.
I just posted a request on the User CP thread asking the SD team to please fix the above two things/give us controls.
In the meanwhile I am deleting my entire friends and contacts list. If any of you are on it, please don't be offended. It's not because I don't want to be associated with you, it's because I don't want people snooping on you because of your link to me.
