I noticed a schick B1G1 coupon, good up to $13.99. Do coupons $10 & up still beep?

Awesome!!! I bought some Maxwell House Wake Up blend last week and its barely even drinkable. But the cheapie in me couldn't bear to spend more cash to replace it. I'll try this tomorrow.

I saw it posted in the Publix thread earlier.. Trying to decide if any stores around here will accept a printable for a free item.. Alot of stores have stopped after problems with fake ones..



At target, yes.. If you have anything over 10.00, it will bring up the "pick an item" screen for cashier to chose what is supposed to be free.

i seriously am going to paste this in my sig. everyone in every thread is asking the same thing, and i'm constantly having to post. can't understand why SD just won't send a system wide message to people to tell how to shut their public stream. i guess they don't want that to happen, and they're hoping by not saying much most people won't know/care. not true. it's just agitating people.


here goes:

To keep anything from showing up in your activity stream:

on the top right of the page, move your mouse to the extreme right on the blue bar, where it says "my account"

hover your mouse over "my account" but do not click
a drop down menu will appear.
click on the very last choice on the list - settings and options
on the settings and options page, scroll down to the activity stream section
check boxes for every activity you do not want in your public stream
scroll further down and click "save changes"

now your activities will no longer be recorded in the public stream. however the activities that are already there before you made these changes will still be there until you delete those manually.

to delete the activities that are showing in your stream from before you made the settings changes:

scroll back up on the settings page, and look to the grey box on the left.
click on the line that says "public profile"
then hover your mouse over the first item in the activity stream
an X will appear on the right
click on the x, and it will delete that item
rinse, repeat for each activity on the stream, until the stream is empty.

done, it shall be empty going forward.


Friends:
I posted on the UserCP Thread yesterday about the friends issue
a member of the SD tech team wrote back a few hours later saying they were looking into it
then again a few hours later saying it was a bug in the system, and they had fixed it, so those who had their privacy settings to hide friends still had their friends list hidden.

hmm.

I had already deleted my friends and contacts list by then, so couldn't tell.

who's online right now? I can send a friend request to one of you. once you accept, we can check if my list is visible to a non-friend.
i will go check my settings right now to make sure friends are not supposed to show on settings (don't even know where that is).

frustrating. i really just want to go about my business without doing all this inside baseball settings crap. i don't think Sd understands that - this has eaten my time the past few days, and it really is beginning to irritate me, as good-humored as i try to be about it.

and in all likelihood, i will not be posting anymore either. i will retire to lurkdom if this continues. because I simply am not okay with a site monitoring my activities in real time and then broadcasting those activities to hundreds of thousands of people despite my expressly choosing not to broadcast such a monitoring stream.

Morning! Enjoying my pumpkin spice coffee this morning, complete with pumpkin pie creamer.

There is a Torani Syrup MQ in the printable thread, and selected walmarts here have the small bottles (at least 8-10 flavors available), right next to the coffee grinder. I bought both SF Hazelnut and SF Vanilla, but I'm not convinced that it's any better than my SF Hazelnut Creamer from International Delight. I use a 1/4 of a cup of ID creamer, so I've been using 1 T of syrup and then filling the 1/4 cup with half and half.

Note that only 2 of the 5 walmarts here had them.

FB is blocked here at work, and I personally despise FB, so... I have no idea if yahoo chats are or not.

I'd rather stay here and not move, but that's my preference. Working on my 2nd quart of water right now.

Yes, and if the free item is more than $10 on the MQ a LOD or someone will need to come and put in a key code for over $10 MQ to go through.

I can't really say. been forever since I used a bogo coupon and had an item over 10.00..
But, I have used 10.00 coupons without approval.. And have recently used a 25.00 and a 30.00 without approval.. But, when I used a TQ, and they tried to adjust it down and entered it for an amount over 5 or 6.00 before, it required a supervisor to come enter their numbers on the screen

Ahhh - that's what I really wanted to know. Intervention-free is what I like.

Thanks... more mobile since the knee surgery, and I'm on the water...usually 3/4 gallon every day. Working on my second quart already (but then I've been awake since 10 after 2 this morning).

I have no idea why my body says Time to Get Up! I'm gonna be real annoyed tomorrow (gov't holdiay) if it happens again.

I don't know really about the measurement on the syrup. I got the pump things like they use at starbucks, and just pump it in. Took some experimenting to figure out how much I needed.

I'm not on the diet thread, but I thought I'd add what I know on yahoo groups, bc I run a couple. You can do attachments. And pictures. You can post files & links permanently on your group for all members to see & use. There are database capabilities, you can run polls, & have a calendar of events that members can post to. There are applications like favorites, for sale, give away, how to (prepare a certain dish would be a good one), a recipe section, & chat. All those are just for group members.

Thanks for the encouragement. I do know I will regret it.. I already do. I hate the feeling of the pounds I have gained.. Been good so far today.. and I am hoping to make it to the gym at work tonight!
