Ha well good thing you didn't come on one of the 'poop talk' days. Those are frequent topics of conversation in this thread, however since I don't have little ones, I just read, laugh, be happy I am past that stage, and read on. You would be amazed to know that there is very little talk about Target in this thread..poop, coffee, diets, now those are topics we like to talk about.

To keep it on track with Target for you...I do plan to use some Target Visa Giftcards to pay for my walgreens buys. LMAO

I could share poop stories today I am sure.. between kids and working as a nurse, they are plentiful.. but, I will spare the details..

I can say on the diet thought that I just finished going to the gym at work and got 40 minutes of cardio done on my break woot and that is about all I have done productive today..

Need to go to target tomorrow. Haven't been in over a week, but the sales just don't look great to me. Am I missing something? What is everyone buying this week?

Had a fairly productive day today. Got my son another uniform for school, since you could see his socks due to his pants being so short. Also stopped in real quick at Trader Joe's since it was in the same shopping center. Grabbed a few goodies, including a 2-lb bag of Honey Crisp apples for 2.99 (they were small apples, but perfect for little ones), a 4-pack of avocados for 2.99, semi-sweet chocolate chips for 2.29 (I so heart their chocolate chips), and fruit leathers for me and the little one.
it's the same everywhere. last friday i put my q's on that little check writing desk and the cashier told me i could either use mq's or wfq's but not both. which is totally not true. i've been doing it for months and this is the first time anybody has ever said anything. and the supervisors always see my q's b/c i always use more than one like wfq so they always have to come over w/ the key. i did read in the whole food thread that some stores do not take both, but mine does.

i told her the only problem is she needs the key b/c i'm using more than one wfq, she made a little tiny face and then no more problems. i was stacking the celestial seasonings q's.

in the whole deal brochures by the front door there may be a 2.00 wfq for 365 choco baking chips. the semi-sweet chips are 2.29 so .29 after wfq. they said it's a mistake so it's not online, but some stores are honoring it, some stores removed the q from the brochure and seems some stores took it off the shelves. i got 2 bags last friday and have 2 more q's good till 1/31.

today i scrubbed the stove and going to scrub the sink.

tomorrow i am going to macy's and buying either the doorbuster ralph lauren pillows or the calvin klein pillows, whichever one i like better. that target pillow is so bad dh stacked it w/ his old pillow and normally he likes very flat pillows but it was just too flat.

Some of the pillows are on sale until 11am; some others are in the sale ad and they're open until 11pm it looks like. The ad is available online. You should look and see which ones you might want.

the 9.99 lauren ralph lauren pillows are a doorbuster till 1pm but the 8.99 calvin klein pillows are not a timed sale. however b/c of that i think you could use the 10/25 till 1pm macys q to make them even cheaper.

I was thinking the same thing. Did not see any good deals this week. When I went Sunday, I ended up with pasta, sauce, hungry jack mix, syrup, oral B and up/up. Same stuff I have been buying. Come on T..we need some new TQ's!

Thanks for the info! I went today and the most of one item/q I had was 5. Transaction required supervisor approval at the end, but both my cashier and the supervisor were very cool about it, and congratulated me on my savings. The cashier even had the supervisor look over all my coupons, because he was nervous that I had used too many, but the supervisor brushed him off and said it was all fine. My total went from $5x.xx down to $16.xx. Big Grin If this store were a little closer, I would do a lot more of my shopping there. As it is, its a 20-30 minute drive for me, so the deals have to be good enough to justify the time/gas/money.
