Kinda slow today. Trying to do some much needed cleaning. Even though we have only been home a few days, this house is a disaster. Spent the first couple days doing vacation laundry and putting aways stuff we brought home. Now trying to do some cleaning that is never ending..doing dishes, mopping and cleaning bathrooms. Yuck!
Tonight is pasta night! Thanks to T that is one thing I always have on hand. I do think I will be loading up on TGIF snacks since they are on sale and there is a TQ out for them.
When we came back from vacation our fridge was bare. I was not in the mood to find deals and clip q's to get some groceries so we just went shopping and I didn't use hardly any coupons.
We did a great job staying on budget while in Disney and were fortunate to bring home quite a bit of our budget money plus all of our emergency money. Which was a great thing to have when going to buy those groceries. lol
Anyways, we have been fighting our pool since we opened it. It is soo cloudy and will not clear up. Have the saltwater unit going so chlorine is fine but something is off. In the 5 yrs that we have had this pool we have never had any problems till this year. We bought a new saltwater unit before vacation so that is not it. We used a big chunk of our money after vacay to buy a big sand filter unit (as opposed to the cheap cartridge one that came with it). It was about $500 and have had it going for about 3 days and although it keeps the water cleaner than before, it is still cloudy. We were told to just shock it like crazy. So at $5 a bag for shock, I am sure hoping it works sooner than later. Have already gone thru about 10 bags.
Also just got the call from DS dentist. He is ready for his bands and brackets (braces)!! It has been a long process to get this far. Not to mention costly! Since he has Boy Scout camp next week, we had to schedule it for the following Mon. I sure hope it doesn't cause him too much discomfort.

it's been awhile I have been busy focusing on the diet/exercise....end of school year stuff for dd....summer plans....etc. finally getting caught up just in time for a little vacation to go visit my brother end of this week! hopefully I will be able to pop in here more now.

*Lachie tried to tell her she should go to FW for the link, not to ask here.
*HB/CL accused Lachie of being snippy.
*Muffie said I'm sure Lachie wasn't being snippy, just trying to help you out as it's clear you are a newbie. It's just not good protocol to ask for a competiting deal site's link on our site. It's kind of like going to Walmart and asking them to refund you for a purchase you made at Target... just not a good practice. Technically, I think the mods could delete your post as it comes very close to violating SD's rules of not posting competitor's links. If someone replied to you, they would have been issued warning points and their post would have been deleted. And as far as reps would go, you can rep, but they wouldn't count as you have less than 50 posts, so the person you gave them to wouldn't really be getting repped. HTH. (she only had 4 posts, so I incorrectly assumed she was a newby... my bad!)
*HB/CL came back stating she wasn't a newby but had 2 accounts and she was able to rep.
*Mod banned HB/CL's second account.
