TN, one of my least favorite Targets here (what was I thinking shopping there), back when the $10 Zyrtec mq came out, I needed to buy dh some allergy meds. Didn't know it would be a beeper and the cashier refused to allow me to use it. Picture matched, size/count was correct, but they said the system rejected it and wouldn't allow it. I paid and went to guest services to do a missed coupon for the $10 mq only to have the cashier come running behind me shrieking that the system rejected it as an invalid coupon. Heck with them, I returned the $43 bottle right then and there. Yes I know it went to salvage but really?
Forecast for tomorrow is 105- 107 with the heat index. I have an OB appt, this is going to suck because I have other plans for afterwards.
Last weekend I packed our bags for the hospital. Yes I know, I should have this down after 4 kids but I feel like I'm missing something?
7 sleepers/ sleep bags (really prefer the bags for those first few weeks)
diapers/wipes (both the sensitive kind)
diaper disposal bags
coming home outfit and blanket
socks
muslin swaddling blankets
pacifiers for the drive home
for myself:
change of clothes/ undies/ Always
hand cream
hand soap and mild soap for when I'm allowed to shower
nursing bras
nursing pads
tooth brush/ paste/ deodorant
slippers
*will need to add phone and tablet chargers
Car seat is already installed in the car. My teen girls are going to alternative nights staying with me at the hospital so I'm going to have them pack their own bags with some snacks and whatever they will need. I'm also going to include a change of clothes or two for 4 year old monkey boy because (dh is going to love this) the nice new Army hospital has pretty water fountains everywhere it seems. lol
I took alot more me stuff though.. I took several gowns for myself as well as some items to make myself look more presentable when I felt up to it.. makeup, hairdryer, etc... If you are nursing, the lansinoh cream is great to have with you..
What about a robe for walking in the hallways?
I also liked some kind of ipod/mp3 player for listening to music in labor.. But, wait I just remembered you aren't laboring so that may not be something you would want..
hair brush or comb or both
hard candy, mints, chewing gum
crossword puzzles, find-a-word puzzles or whatever kind you like
book to read instead of puzzles
baby powder (cornstarch)

L2B, I don't keep up baby books very well either but do want something for footprints. And doh, I was just telling dh that I need to get some lanolin cream. I need to pick up some puzzle books.

Went to T. yesterday....used exactly 2, yes 2, coupons. It seems that much of my grocery money is being repurposed and reallocated into clothing money for two shrinking adults and one growing child

Overall I have no problem but when manufacturers put out a coupon for an item that doesn't have the same manu code on the item package as on the mq, and it's over $5, looks like we are going to have some issues. Jerks.
OB update- snippy perinatologist told my OB that she doesn't condone them doing the c-section before 39 weeks, even with amnio. Dang it, I understand why but at the same time I wish she would show a little compassion for ME. Since Saturday my reflux has kicked in something awful and all I can eat are bagels, chicken noodle soup and crackers or I'm up all night feeling like I'm going to vomit and/ or with huge belches. It's very uncomfortable overall. I want baby to be as safe as possible but I also know I can't do 2 extra weeks of this. Yes, I'm taking meds, can't take Zofran because it makes it worse. Blech.

I posted a few items for sale on a local buy/sale/trade FB site. I am talking like 3 of this, 5 of that, 4 of these and so on. Probably about 8 different things or so. Can you believe I get 'called out' by some lady telling me that it is aweful that cpners buy more than they need and then resell it at a profit to innocent people who don't know how to get it themselves. And that I should be donating everything. LOL
So what do I do, I check her out and find out that she has a FB page and is holding classes to teach couponing. haha AND charging people to come to her classes!! Seriously...ticked me off!!
And she calls me greedy
Of course she tried to warn them that I was selling these items at regular retail and that they could buy it from the store for this price. Ha ya right!
