I've been cleaning out the upstairs fridge and it already hurts. There was so much delicious Chobani yogurt Sadwalk Tomorrow I'll be working on the stand-up freezer and that has a bunch of the T cheesecakes we were still working through. hug thanks for the kind reps/advice...I wish we had insurance but we are just renting from MIL w/ no lease (some shadyness on their part but we can't risk getting kicked out if we ask for more "protection" or for things to get fixed).

So on the note of our housing situation...DH is driving me nuts. He has this new obsession for the past 6 months to buy an abandoned fire house in baltimore. There seems to be one left and about to be put up for bids and wants us to put an application together. Now, until today I thought we agreed we wouldn't live there anytime soon (like 10 yrs) because of the bad neighborhood/schools. We also already started the process to get our 3.5yr old into a new public pre-school program right around the corner from us for him to start this fall.

What I think is driving him to this is that we are not having the best time the in-laws. To make it short...we are finding out their true colors day by day since we started renting their old house (after backing out from buying it when I lost my job). Things went down-hill financially for us and we are grateful they let us stay. Now DH has a good government job and I better find something too if we want to get out of this.

So according to my googling, we wouldn't get a home loan until DH has been in his new job for 2 years. So we'll have to rent for that long unless a miracle comes our way and DH thinks the firehouse is it Facepalm. I found a new rental house on the market in our area that is just $50 more than what we pay right now which is hard to find. It looks decent but they are showing it this Sunday and we leave Saturday for NC. DH doesn't even want to think about it as an option. It is just all about the darn firehouse. He doesn't know that we'll win the bid...especially since we are just recovering financially. We still have great credit but that doesn't matter when Baltimore will probably expect to pick a developer or someone local with some heartbreaking vision.

I am at a loss and getting frustrated. Sometimes I have this crazy daydream that we'll befriend a lonely senior who will leave us their house laugh out loud
Well I better go and cut the boy's hair. They are currently having a great time running wild in their undies LMAO
I don't think he did, I was just really bummed because I had been away from coupon shopping for about two weeks and was looking forward to some deals. I guess that meant I did not need them Wink

How long was he out of work and did he change professions? Depending on how long he was out of work and whether or not he changed professions, you may not need to wait 2 years for a mortgage. Don't believe everything you google Wink You are way better off speaking with a mortgage professional (several mortgage professionals). Good luck either way!!

wow what a ruckus at my closest T this evening while I was getting me some hawaiian diaps/wipes Wink
I didn't get the whole story but looked like lady and her man were trying to return some $100 phillips something rather item w/out a receipt and the red card she provided wasn't showing up as the method of payment. They said something about needing her ID but that it was over the limit and register was flashing a no-go prompt. She got all pissy and asked for "her $100 in cash now" Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) Maybe she didn't want store credit for it but wanted it back to the red card? The man with her was not saying much but then pointed at the sign behind about "we do our best for your returns blah blah different methods to make you happy yada yada yada". To me things were just smellin' fishy. I guess they got what they wanted because I saw them leave much quieter while I was putting my loot in the trunk. It made the whole GS team super uncomfortable and I was trying to get a PM done Facepalm. Imagine me trying to make them laugh and all LMAO.

A little convoluted. He was out of work since November of last year but still going to school. He went from fixing cars to being a process engineer for the government and working on a masters. Problem is that I was working back when we qualified for the mortgage over a year ago. I've been staying home with the kiddoes since but it is time to get back to work. I should know by now not to trust google laugh out loud I'll probably just tell DH we need to get loan thresholds even for that darn firehouse. Thanks!

Did my T run, the cashier did not even ask for my coupons this time, but she is one that I don't see there often when I go. Then after said and done she could not get the Aquafresh MQ to work and so I told her I would take it to CS, well I counted and another coupon was missing, well CS and I figure it to be the other Aquafresh MQ, she was really nice and told me that I do well with my coupons and mentioned I shop there a lot and she did not think she could do like I do. Smilie Love it when they are nice and not grumpy. There is one I stir clear of because she is no about everything.

Watchin' a couple shows on Hulu... DH is not home from work yet. Probably working out Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
Anyway....just want to say I hate the Mattress Discounters commercial. This lady walks down a grocery store aisle and find a coupon...and another...and another....as she gets crazier about finding the coupons. DH gets a big snarky laugh everytime...saying I'm like that. Maybe I am excited to find a blinkie, tp, or ht everyone is talking about, but I don't jump around (just in my head LMAO). Like that episode of Bones about some dead couponer. Then they show her "trading" group getting all physical about who got what at a meeting...and they had nicknames like the Coupon B or something Facepalm. Ugh another Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) to DH.

how sad...I'm posting again this AM right after my post "last night"

we haven't even started getting ready to pack (still laundry to do too Facepalm) to leave for our trip to the NC beach. We don't have to be there until 6pm .. I should say "can't" because MIL won't get the keys to the house until then. So we are going to cram in 9 adults, 5 kids and 2 dogs. We don't know the exact address Facepalm and I hate not to know where to shop LMAO. Really just worried about groceries, especially since me/kids eat kosher/halal (DH tries laugh out loud), but MIL said they would take care of all the food.

Another headache is that I still need to find a black bowtie for DH3.5 by July 14th for my cousin's wedding. I have tried all kinds of stores. Now I wish I had just ordered one online but I really thought JCP/Macy's would at least have. I even tried the Men's Warehouse. I am thinking of just keeping an eye out for outlet malls on the way but that will be a hard sell to DH who lives on a schedule we never make Roll Eyes (Sarcastic).

Oh and I meant to post picture of the mess I made of DS3.5 by using a fading tool around his ears when I had only used scissors/comb for everything else. Needless to say, I ended up taking him to his first real haircut. I must be cheap because I cringed at paying $15+tip for each kid (also gave one to DS2 after he saw his brother was getting a lollipop LMAO). That place was great but I think I'll stick to cutting myself (w/out clippers laugh out loud) for regular stuff but getting a real haircut for special occasions.

oh oh oh .. and DS1 just started crawling! He stands up and cruises already but now he doesn't have to shriek as much when he wants a toy. Now he just shrieks because DS2 and DS3.5 won't let him have what they are playing with at that moment LMAO. I'm still kindah "scared" at posting pics of the kids on a public forum...but I'd love to share those sweet faces with y'all. Do you gals/guys post real pics much? At least I'd show you the haircut mess LMAO

Haha my lil one doesn't have enough hair for a haircut, but I can show the lovely picture from yesterday, when she got into the wipes pack while I was driving Mad It's the magic wipe dispenser! Where do they all come from? Gotta love kids....

Oh, and yay for crawling! Mine has been crawling since 6 mos, and now she's like speed racer, now you see her now you don't. She's almost walking now too, I feel bad for my poor dog when she does lol. She's already bigger than him!

I went to Target today to check out the blue $ spot for my niece. She always have four littles each year, as she works orientation each year. I bought several magnetic note pads for her. I found some cute books for my great nephew, and I bought myself some cupcake liners and some matching snack bags.
The Hershey's Almond Pieces and the M&M snack mix were 3/$8. I had a two $1/1 printables for the Hershey and the new TQ and a M&M Snack mix TQ too. I didn't think 3/$4 was too bad (no M&M snack MQs).

Just crossed fron VA to NC ...still 2hr of driving to go. We left really late but stopped at the williamsburg outlets too laugh out loud nothin for but got $2.50 clearance gap boxers for dh and finally found plain white plos for the boys for MIL plan of a all white family picture Facepalm.

OMG just passes a sonic! Dh said " I guess ur gonna want that on the way back"...yeep bounce

Had a good trip yesterday. Update has not reached the 2 stores in my driving area.

Stocked up on Dixie plates. I think the sale, $2.66, ended yesterday.
