Wow! Such a small world... DS works in Ank and DD lives in WDM. Even more ironic, I'll be there mid August to watch the kidlets as the DS and DIL are finally going to take that honeymoon they never got around to taking 10 years ago. Maybe I'll run into you at Whole Foods... LOL! Again, have fun in St. L. Big Grin

Oh too funny!! my brother just moved from Ankeny....he and his soon-to-be-ex-wife (thanks to her just basically up and leaving him one day for another guy...that was back in January...) had lived there. The lease on the place they had rented was finally up the end of June so he and a college friend decided to room together and get an apartment closer to work and stuff...he owns a photography business and just opened up a gallery in Urbandale last month. I was kind of sad - had gotten to know my way around Ankeny just in time for him to move Teehee He needed to get out of that house though; it was just making stuff harder for him Frown

We will be there the 9th-11th....just another quick trip. Going to take dd to adventureland, see my brother, stay at the waterpark hotel, and just RELAX LOL! I try to jam too much into these little mini-vacations sometimes.

Kinda late to the discussion, but we love using the RedCard. The only thing we wished we knew right off hand was to request two cards when applying. It does take longer to hit your account than normal purchases, but if you pay attention, it shouldn't matter. You also get free shipping (with maybe a few exceptions) online when using it.

What do you mean by requesting two cards? I'm the only one that's going to be using it.

I love my cvs ,have for years , they are usually coupon fiendly with few exceptions.

Ther not on sale stuff is frightfully expensive but they do have really good deals.
The only other problem is they limit the number of extra carebuck deals.
I saved over $100 today , and paid just tax.

Probably doesn't matter for you, then. We found out we could have gotten a second one free at time of sign-up, which would have been better for my husband and I.

Yeah, I don't think DBF needs direct access to my checking account at Target. I foresee that going very poorly. He's very good about using my debit card when picking up slushies for us, though. That small always turns into a medium. heart

Morning, all!! Sitting here, enjoying my coffee and getting ready for the day.

I wish there was more at Target to get! Seems almost like a waste to make the trip just to get vinegar and peroxide. The Schick Hydro gc deal isn't still going on, is it?

Good evening...

I've also had a hard time being motivated to go shopping. Just don't want to...

Not much going on except rain. And my little one is actually starting to ask to go potty. It's not every time but it's becoming more frequent. Yay!

Trying to figure out some 1 year old boy birthday ideas. I was hoping to sew something, but I don't know what.

I'm reeling my brother in law(mysisters dh) just lost his brother, after just losing my sis.

He was 54 and part of our posee in high school , later became bil and have stayed in touch over the years ,he was now extended family!

He was 54 and died of a heart attck in his sleep. I will miss him.

This has been three funerals in about a month of extended family members, two on my side and one on husbands.

I'm kind of drowning in grief.
