1) We didn't see Charlie die...yes, we saw the him drown, but not 100% dead. I think Jacob made a deal or sorts with Charlie. Either that or...
2) What's to stop Jacob having the same powers at the Man in Black? What if Jacob possessed Charlie / Eco to talk to Hurley, so as to ease him into talking with the dead? What if Jacob can posses animals too... The polar bear (being White...the side of good) and the Walts dog, always showed up when needed.
3) Man in Black is stuck in Lockes body because he died off-island in a flash-forward whilst also being on the island (presumable possessed by the MIB whilst he died in the future). Would is still be possible to dig up the real Locke and resurrect him, making it possible to kill the fake Locke / Man in Black?
What with only 9 episodes (10 hours) left after tonight, I'm struggling to see how Lost is going to tie everything up with a big bow on top.

3) I'm confused, Locke didn't die in a flash forward. He died in real time: 2007. Ben turned the wheel and got him off the island, but it wasn't a flash forward. He went around talking to the Losties that made it off, the Oceanic 6.
That was an interesting episode. It was a little boring compared to last week's, but it was neat to see the flash-sideways of Ben. He wasn't evil there, but still a manipulator. Good to see Alex back. And my has she developed. They tried to make her look like the same age as on the island since it's the 2004 time line, but one can't fight mother nature, and unfortunately for her character, she looks too old, but fortunately for her, she has, well, like I said, developed.
The slo-mo ending at the end made me
This was the 1st time we heard about the Dharma initiative in the 2004 LA time line. Interesting.
When do you think Jin and Sun will reunite? Will ABC drag it out to the finale?
I'm tiring of Ilana. I don't know - she just doesn't appeal to me.
Widmore found the island!
Also, Michael Emerson is a absolute GENIUS.

Speaking of Dharma, how does that tie in with Rousseau? Were they still traveling to the island, since it did exist (Ben's dad mentioned it)?
And Arzt was back! I wonder if he plays any significant role past this episode. neat little throwback and tie-in with the Black Rock. Love those little easter eggs.
