It depends on what year they have him in - 2004 or 2007? In 2004, that'd be impossible for him to look like he did in the 1st season. In 2007, he still shouldn't have the facial hair that he would in real life in 2010. We'll see.
Yea it's pretty obvious that there's no way they can bring him back in the '04 storyline. He's way taller and barely looks like the same person.

I want to first say that I've been along for this ride since day 1 and have no intention of reading any spoilers. I do have some more theories though and welcome thoughts.

1) We didn't see Charlie die...yes, we saw the him drown, but not 100% dead. I think Jacob made a deal or sorts with Charlie. Either that or...

2) What's to stop Jacob having the same powers at the Man in Black? What if Jacob possessed Charlie / Eco to talk to Hurley, so as to ease him into talking with the dead? What if Jacob can posses animals too... The polar bear (being White...the side of good) and the Walts dog, always showed up when needed.

3) Man in Black is stuck in Lockes body because he died off-island in a flash-forward whilst also being on the island (presumable possessed by the MIB whilst he died in the future). Would is still be possible to dig up the real Locke and resurrect him, making it possible to kill the fake Locke / Man in Black?

What with only 9 episodes (10 hours) left after tonight, I'm struggling to see how Lost is going to tie everything up with a big bow on top.

Show is amazing. I've rewatched all the seasons prior to this season starting to get a refresher, amazing how much more you notice when you watch it again and you know whats happening afterwards.

2) The producers have already said that people are reading too much into the Polar Bears. They feel like they've already explained it sufficiently and it was never that big a deal.

3) I'm confused, Locke didn't die in a flash forward. He died in real time: 2007. Ben turned the wheel and got him off the island, but it wasn't a flash forward. He went around talking to the Losties that made it off, the Oceanic 6.

It's been said multiple times on the show: Dead is dead. Nobody gets resurrected and truly remains themselves.

They've known exactly how much time is left in the show since season 3. I have full confidence that all of the significant questions will be explained in a satisfactory manner, and they've already stated that they don't want to leave any room for a movie/spinoff series.

'Lost:' The redemption of Benjamin Linus? [cnn.com]

That was an interesting episode. It was a little boring compared to last week's, but it was neat to see the flash-sideways of Ben. He wasn't evil there, but still a manipulator. Good to see Alex back. And my has she developed. They tried to make her look like the same age as on the island since it's the 2004 time line, but one can't fight mother nature, and unfortunately for her character, she looks too old, but fortunately for her, she has, well, like I said, developed. drool Embarrassment

The slo-mo ending at the end made me Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) but it's good to see them reunite. I assume Jack will tell Sun that Jin was doing well at the temple before the smoke monster ravaged it.

This was the 1st time we heard about the Dharma initiative in the 2004 LA time line. Interesting.

When do you think Jin and Sun will reunite? Will ABC drag it out to the finale? Confused

I'm tiring of Ilana. I don't know - she just doesn't appeal to me.

Widmore found the island! Whee

I fully believe this as well. They know exactly what they're doing, finally. This season has been incredible.

The little preview clip from the end of last week said that he "meets his demise," which may not necessarily mean his final resting place.

Also, Michael Emerson is a absolute GENIUS. drool

This was the 1st time we heard about the Dharma initiative in the 2004 LA time line. Interesting.
Alex's last name is still Rousseau, shown on her email to the principal. Definitely wondering how Rousseau, an expeditioner from France, has a daughter living in America. Does Rousseau live in America now, blah blah blah.. ?

Speaking of Dharma, how does that tie in with Rousseau? Were they still traveling to the island, since it did exist (Ben's dad mentioned it)?

And Arzt was back! I wonder if he plays any significant role past this episode. neat little throwback and tie-in with the Black Rock. Love those little easter eggs. Smilie
