dang....it was raining whale for a while there
I bet the engineers who decided to blow it up knew it wouldn't work, but wanted to blow it up anyway. laugh out loud Cool

I wonder what's left of that sand-buried whale. It was about 40 years ago, so I'd imagine it's pretty much gone.

Well, I imagine a chance like that doesn't come up every often. How many people can put "blew up a whale" on their resume....laugh out loud

I doubt that kind of thing could happen today with all the activists...darn tree-huggers trying to preserve the whale's gentle spirit until it can move on to it's next life.(I love how OT this is)

laugh out loud That would be interesting resume material and a sure-fire conversation starter.

Interviewer: "So, it says here that you blew up a whale? Tell me more about that."

About the tree-huggers, we can give them a "special" stick of dynamite. EEK! Stick Out Tongue

We were just discussing about blowing things up and I mentioned how in real life, a beached whale was blown up in 1970. Cool

LOL @ Hugo being a whale.

I watched a somewhat stupid and very boring movie called "The Men Who Stare at Goats". One of the very few good things about it is that "Lost"'s Charlotte Lewis (Rebecca Mader) had a cameo in it.
