does any one else on SD watch this show. i have watched each episode and i'm hooked its a mystery going on in each episode and makes it worth wild to watch .

I disagree I thought it was a cool ending. All the couples got back together. Even though Jack died, Hurley is running the island with Benjamin it all seemed to work for me and made me Crying2 and I need a hug.


I'm watching Jimmy Kimmel Live for the 3 alternate endings.

Wait did anyone notice that the black guy and his son was missing, you know the owner of the dog?

Whatever endings are on Kimmel, it will be a different edit or a different set of dialogue, but the essential end will be the same. I hated that Lost ended like this. Jack just dies; Kate, etc just leave to save themselves and then they all meet up in some made up world just so that they can say goodbye? I thought about how I would end it and I'm sure others have to, and I'm guessing those are far better ways to finish this show. I'm pissed. This is the ending they had in mind since the start? @#$# this ending.

Glad I lowered my expectations for the plot, I wasn't disappointed. I watched for all the characters not the plot. laugh out loud

I wanted it to end in a way where I was surprised and happy, a result typical of watching this fantastic show. This ending left me with my hands in a "what the @#43" pose.

I was going to put a suggestion for how I would have ended the show, but it doesn't matter. This is how it ended; I can't create an alternative universe where the show ended in a better way.

Exactly. I was very happy with the ending. Oh why is freckles always so dirty looking. Everytime I see her, I think she just wipes up with a baby wipe and just hits the road. Just a nasty chick. Oh and Claire's hair OMG ok the crying has stopped, thank you red wine.

Ok i just don't understand the whole Jack and Juliet and son thing. That seems like the only story line that really changed this season. Doesn't fit in with the rest of the way the show was going.

After watching everything, I have to ask: Why did all of this happen?
Jacob need a successor: why not Richard? Why not one of the others?
Why did he need Jack, Hurley, Kate, etc?
Why did Jack, Kate, and Hurley need to go back to the island? Why couldn't Sawyer take over?
Why didn't Jacob let anyone leave?

Jacob was an asshole. Regardless of what he thought, he farked with the lives of people that didn't need messing around with. The characters of the show could have had meaningful relationships with other people in their life.

I guess there was no love for Mr. Eko. I think there is going to be a spin off though, called- that's right, "Found".

So Jack is going to be the MIB and you know the rest.

A quick reason for why the ending sucked; it's similar to a "it was all a dream ending." We spent an entire season invested in the sideways world only to be told it was a made up place so that everyone could meet up and move on? Move on? They just meet, they re-realize how important they were to each other (Juliet and Sawyer, Kate and Jack, Charlie and Claire, etc ... they didn't know when they were ALIVE that they were so important to each other?) and now they move on? So now they are "Found" because they found each other when they were dead? What? @#$3 this ending#@$#@$#@$

The more I think about it, the more I think this:

Lost, at it's essence, it's Jack's story. From the very beginning, it was supposed to just be about him. We learned a lot about other characters in the process, and it was a long, in-depth, and wild ride, but the show lived and died with him. Once he died, he moved into this realm before he went into the light and saw the people that be became close with on the island, but their stories didn't seem to matter. We don't know what happened to them, because once Jack died, the story is over.
