ETA: Found my answer.... up to 21 days in advance! YAY!!!
My toddler loves the cookies - but I *wish* they were sugar cookies. They always put out choc. chip. Obviously, these folks don't have kids...
Oh, and a weird note. I had a little travel green pack of the up & up wipes in my purse - opened 'em up to use on DD and they were molded.
I am so itchy I want to scratch the skin off my face and arms. This is driving me nuts. It must be something Im eating or coming in contact with - right?? UGH!!!
I totally missed the summer stuff today...went for KM toys instead and by the time I got there, there was only a couple of the ice buckets and some sand & silicone molds. WTH, I am sucker for clearance.
Someone backed into DH's parked car about a week ago. I can't believe that both the guy and a witness left notes on the windshield

The sugar cookies are in the cookie bin on the counter in the snacky bar.
Opinions: any time-tested ways to determine what size to buy for your kids for the following year??
I thought this would be easier because I was hoping my dd would go from the 'months' sizes and into the 't's' but she is somewhere in about the <5% part of the growth chart and doesn't really wear a consistent size in any brand, not to mention tops and bottoms are not the same sizes for her either most of the time. She is 2-and-a-half and in about a 18-24m for tops (can sometimes do small 2T's), 12m for shorts now that she lost the diaper. She is just super-short and will take after her 4'11" mother

DS#1 would level for a while, there were two periods of time that he wore the same size for about 18 months. His growth pattern was also different from the girls. DS#2 is the skinny little monkey that is the only one of my kids to wear the same numerical size as their age. He's almost 3 and still wears a 3. Beginning of this summer he could still wear 18-24 months.
Long story short- it's not worth it to buy too much ahead. I learned that from all the new with tag Gymboree that I always seemed to have to sell on feebay.

The purple puff ball jacket is totally awesome and I am soooooo going dumpster diving to find me one.

As for kids, I usually go about 2 sizes bigger. But, *my* kids grow like monsters. I always figure bigger is better. One of the nice things about living in the south, though, is that it tends to be warmer longer - so the kids can wear capris and stuff a lot longer than if we were in Ohio still. Also, sundresses can be worn with a solid colored shirt under neath or a little cardigan over 'em.
Shoes are harder for me. Sometimes my kids will be in 1 size for a while, then suddenly skip right past one size and into another.
An older lady I knew used to say take the kids age and add 2 - but I really think that will depend on a lot of varying factors (i.e. is he/she skinny or stout, tall or short, etc...)
I hope the swelling goes down soon. Drink enough water that you think you'll be waterlogged, and then drink more. That really is the only way to help things.

And I probably shouldn't complain... Worst case scenario, I have 4 weeks left!!!
Oh, and I began the process of re-reorganizing my q's.
I had pulled some out and put them in groups for runs, and then didn't finish all the runs I wanted last week, so I decided today to re-reorganize them back into alphabetical order so that I can pull out more groups and do the same thing this/next week.
Yes folks, *that* is the definition of insanity...
And I'm not even sure there are things to buy at T this week. Any mm deals??
