We do the popcorn - and I like the cherry coke. *shrug*

My toddler loves the cookies - but I *wish* they were sugar cookies. They always put out choc. chip. Obviously, these folks don't have kids...

Oh, and a weird note. I had a little travel green pack of the up & up wipes in my purse - opened 'em up to use on DD and they were molded. Sick Grossest and most unexpected thing I've ever seen.

I am so itchy I want to scratch the skin off my face and arms. This is driving me nuts. It must be something Im eating or coming in contact with - right?? UGH!!!

MY DS knows when we go to "TAHJIT" that he is going to get a bag of MP fruit snacks or "soot snacks" as he calls them!

I totally missed the summer stuff today...went for KM toys instead and by the time I got there, there was only a couple of the ice buckets and some sand & silicone molds. WTH, I am sucker for clearance.

Someone backed into DH's parked car about a week ago. I can't believe that both the guy and a witness left notes on the windshield Crylol. Anyways, they gave him a rental and he picked it up this morning...2010 camaro! He is loving life for the next couple of days because his car is a total POS without A/C and the ability to roll the front windows down. Roll

I've never had kids or baby sat in a very long time, but I had some wipes out in the garage that I found also molded. Who knew they did that?

You need to complain. Maybe get some free off brand wipes. Screw you pampers!

The sugar cookies are in the cookie bin on the counter in the snacky bar.

That is interesting on the moldy wipes. I will now forever be triple-checking every time I open a new packLMAO I've had them sit for a pretty good amt. of time and never had a problem but I am super grossed out by stuff like that!!

Opinions: any time-tested ways to determine what size to buy for your kids for the following year??

I thought this would be easier because I was hoping my dd would go from the 'months' sizes and into the 't's' but she is somewhere in about the <5% part of the growth chart and doesn't really wear a consistent size in any brand, not to mention tops and bottoms are not the same sizes for her either most of the time. She is 2-and-a-half and in about a 18-24m for tops (can sometimes do small 2T's), 12m for shorts now that she lost the diaper. She is just super-short and will take after her 4'11" motherlaugh out loud And skinny too - and in that way will not take after her motherTeehee Anyway, any foolproof ways to guesstimate? I've tried buying big in the past and she either ends up literally swimming in stuff or it waits for the next year. There are a lot of things she wore at the end of last summer that she's wearing this summerDontknow I don't wanna have to wait next year and pay full priceAnnoyed

I have 4 kids and still don't have a tried and true way of figuring this out. DD#1 grew fairly steadily so I bought one size ahead for the following season so if I was buying for the next summer, I would buy 2 sizes bigger than her current size. DD#2, I tried to base her clothing sizes on the older child's growth chart. Yeah, didn't work. laugh out loud She was one or more sizes bigger but shorter so it was a fail.
DS#1 would level for a while, there were two periods of time that he wore the same size for about 18 months. His growth pattern was also different from the girls. DS#2 is the skinny little monkey that is the only one of my kids to wear the same numerical size as their age. He's almost 3 and still wears a 3. Beginning of this summer he could still wear 18-24 months.

Long story short- it's not worth it to buy too much ahead. I learned that from all the new with tag Gymboree that I always seemed to have to sell on feebay.

How I Saved $120 at CVS [blogspot.com] (circa 2006)

Prior to this experience, I thought coupons were a waste of time and effort. Now I've been converted and have started taking advantage of all sorts of other coupons that come my way.

Not that I can tell. It's something I've been dealing with through most of the pregnancy though. I just wish I knew what triggered it and made it worse. It's highly annoying.

Our deli/bakery has free cookies they put in a little bubble domed dish on the bakery side. But, of course, this is at ST. No such thing at reg. T.

Yeah - the wipes were gross. The only thing I could think of was maybe because I had left my purse in the car a few days and it was SUPER hot - so I dunno..

As for kids, I usually go about 2 sizes bigger. But, *my* kids grow like monsters. I always figure bigger is better. One of the nice things about living in the south, though, is that it tends to be warmer longer - so the kids can wear capris and stuff a lot longer than if we were in Ohio still. Also, sundresses can be worn with a solid colored shirt under neath or a little cardigan over 'em.

Shoes are harder for me. Sometimes my kids will be in 1 size for a while, then suddenly skip right past one size and into another.

An older lady I knew used to say take the kids age and add 2 - but I really think that will depend on a lot of varying factors (i.e. is he/she skinny or stout, tall or short, etc...)

Just a little Target Breakroom [thebreakroom.org] humor before bed.

Blood testers eh? Seems as though this little lad got lost on the way home from walgreens. I've never bought "blood testers" at Targay.

ank, it could be the heat, salt intake, or just something that's gonna happen regardless. Sucks. I only had swelling with one of my pregnancies but it was very bad. It was worse after delivery but I had other complications that exasperated that.

I hope the swelling goes down soon. Drink enough water that you think you'll be waterlogged, and then drink more. That really is the only way to help things.

Yeah... I guess it's just one of those things...

And I probably shouldn't complain... Worst case scenario, I have 4 weeks left!!!

Oh, and I began the process of re-reorganizing my q's.

I had pulled some out and put them in groups for runs, and then didn't finish all the runs I wanted last week, so I decided today to re-reorganize them back into alphabetical order so that I can pull out more groups and do the same thing this/next week.

Yes folks, *that* is the definition of insanity...

And I'm not even sure there are things to buy at T this week. Any mm deals??
