Hot Toys for Christmas 2010: Predictions

What do you think will be the hot toy for 2010.

I'm leaning towards mighty beanz right now. My son is a huge Star Wars fan and is crazy about them. They not only do Star Wars, but Marvel Super Heros and they also have a normal line for the younger kids. I like how cheap they are. Only $5 for a package of them.

only window that is closing is on the singamajigs I have, so those have to go back ASAP.
resale market for them is absolutely nill.

ill hold onto the others a bit longer, but i have quite a bit of holiday funds tied up that I could definately use rather than just gather dust in my basement.

Boy, Squinkies have flooded the online market.vomit It's wierd because they are tough to find locally for me, but you can get anything you want between Target, Walmart and Toys R us. Its resale value has officially hit rock bottom. If you are holding onto these and your reciept expires soon RETURN IT! Don't get stuck with it. I know a lot of people are waiting for Black Friday to see if things improve, but I don't think it will. Manufacturing is ramped up now, so the retailers will have these readily available.shake head

yup, i took back all of my sing-a-ma-jigs last night.
Shame aside of having to wait while they scanned in 50+, no harm, no foul.
it was worth the gamble in case they hit it big.

only thing i am left sitting on is about 10 Kinects, but I see those going back real soon as well.

All the Sing a ma jigs and Squinkies I bought had to go back. I did pretty good with the Kinect. I sold my last one last week. I made $10-$30 on every one I sold.

Rounding up my receipts so I can take back the Lalaloopsy dolls, monster high dolls, squinkies, and air hogs hawk eyes. I sold a few Hawk Eyes this season but everything else was a bust.

lol I'm in Tennessee and haven't seen one Lalaloopsy doll anywhere in the stores. Didn't really care either until last Wednesday. The anesthesiologist was making small talk with my daughter while they were prepping her for surgery.He asked her what Santa was bringing her. He got a big emphatic Lalaloopsy! EEK! This was the first that I ever heard of her wanting one. lol What goes around comes around I guess, all the years of selling toys on ebay and the first year that I don't, I have to pay out the nose for one. laugh out loud
