You probably didn't miss much. The deals thread lately is one big recap, totally mediocre deals, and meanies and newbies. LMAO

Oh, that is awful! Our poor fur baby got attacked last weekend. My DH had her in her harness on a leash and 3 pitbull mixes got out of a house they run by every day. One latched on to her hind quarters and wouldn't let go. My DH kept hitting it over the head, fearful that the other 2 would attack while yelling at the owner to get his dogs. Guy comes out, calls the dogs and runs in his house and locks the door! Someone driving by saw it happen and called 911. Fur baby will be OK, aside from the healing puncture mark and shaved spot on her back. Looks so pathetic!
This kind of stuff just makes me angry uuuuuugggghhhhh!! These neighbors of ours are particularly irresponsible in other ways too....they are renters, and both they and whoever the landlord is over there (we've never even seen him in the last oh 4 yrs. we've lived here!) don't take care of the property very well.

Then this with the poor dog Frown That and we've had to call the fire dept. and complain numerous times (which I hate having to do) because they aren't responsible when they have fire pits in their backyard. They will start a fire late at night, dump water on it to put it out, and then we wake up and it's still smoldering/breaking into open flame in the AM - no supervision all night. The last time they had a huge fire started about 2 ft. from their house and were dumping lighter fluid on it, making it jump in the air wildly....no fear.

Ugh. Just can't stop running it through my mind....

Hope your pup heals up well; did the guy at least get cited or something???????

No, rest assured, there are misinformed morons in texas as well. You continue to be persistent and nice and you'll eventually win. Don't stop using coupons there because then they win and well, we don't let them win. (hear me target? you won't win!)

It sounds like you had a standard target issue, I've had several countless issues were I don't even want to shop at target, you just have to be persistent as jaime said, and never let them win!n when they see you there on regular basis and know your not trying to pull anything shady, it will get better. And everytime you get a survery fill it out with your issues and names of anyone whether they were rude or helpful. I have been doing them and it seems to be working! Hth

Welcome to tcc its addicting!
I want to be a winner! *shakes fist at Target* I wont give up... though I have cooled down on my runs. I'm just not always in the mood to give myself another ulcer. lol. I'll continue being persistent and pleasant and see if I can eventually find me a jedi! I was half tempted, one time, to ask this woman if I could have a copy of her schedule. Roll And wouldn't ya know it, every time I've gone in since... she's not there. *sigh*

I didn't even know they had surveys! Thanks for the heads up with that tip. I guess I just figured Corporate would keep record of who did what and why, etc. It's better to leave it in the store, though. You're totally right. Some employees even get into trouble from some of those cards. Which is what /needs/ to be happening! They need to know that when they're turds to customers they're going to get Horse on back! hahaha! It's like Pavlov's dog... every time they hear the paper dropping into the survey box, they instinctively straighten up and act right. laugh out loud Ok, I'm making myself laugh way too much. I'll go ahead and wrap this post up by saying:

Thanks for the reply ladies and the welcome! Smilie It's exactly what I needed. *curtsies*

Something like 'Dog at Large', not sure of the fine, but he told the police we should send the vet bills to him. That we will! $75 for first visit with antibiotics, follow up on Monday. I should bill him for a toupee to cover her bald spot! Worst part is, he still hasn't fixed the fence gate they got out of, and he lives along the route many young kids walk to school!

For your viewing pleasure! My T Home shelves (the Bronze ones that were $13.49 on sale a few weeks ago, and the silver ones that are TPC for $14.99)

The ones with all the toothpaste are the bronze ones (4 total, 2 side by side, 2 high) and the other 2 with the shampoo is the silver ones (with the towel bar under). The silver ones are on the wall by the shower, so no more tracking water to get shampoo! I was having a problem with the John Frieda standing up on the wire shelves, so I used a cake pan cover for one, but for the other, I bought some plastic placemats today at T, and cut 1 to size for the shelf (as seen in pic 2).

The shampoo, conditioner, razors, and soap we will be using, the toothpaste and toothbrushes, some will probably end up donated, or Halloween treats Big Grin (As a disclaimer, everything was bought in moderate quantities, it just ads up when you make multiple trips per week (and sometimes day). nod

*sorry for the weird angle for the bronze ones, but it's in the "cove" over our garden tub, and hard to get most of it in that little space.

What a great idea!
I love the placemat idea, I usually just buy shallow plastic containers but I'm going to try your idea out! Love, too, the idea of grouping your wall units in 4. Very wise! Thanks so much for sharing!!

Okay, this was before my HOA had a fit and I had to pack up and move things around. At this point I have about 20 tubs worth of stuff in my garage (mostly Glad, Cesar, Fancy Feast, Colgate, Crest, H&S, Pantene, BIC razors and pens..etc etc) The other 40 tubs (mostly what you see here) is in another town being safely watched for me.

You are my HERO worship

The toothpaste one is there, I just had to re-upload it, it was turned the wrong way.

I wish I could use my garage, or my basement (1st floor in my case, but main door goes to second floor). Both are being occupied by MIL & step-daughter (and now her just as worthless fianc). We took half of our garage and turned it into a full size kitchen & living room for the MIL before we moved in 7 years ago. Of course, she never uses it, since she doesn't get out of bed Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) But, I also can't store stuff in it, since she also doesn't clean, and ends up with mice and other critters vomit

Oh that sucks! She medically can't get out of bed or she just choses not to? Either way, that has to be hard!

It's a choice, she is determined to be "helpless". My parents, grandparents, and so on were farmers, so very active and need to be doing something. It drives me crazy, to even think about sitting/laying in bed all day watching "Judge" shows. After a day or two, I'd want out!

That's why I like coupons, it gives me something to do while I sit at night (when I'm not on here Wink ) I'm one of those people that at the stop light I am using an Armor All wipe to clean my dash off, because I don't like just sitting there doing nothing Big Grin

LTL, I see you've been buying ThermaCare at Publix Big Grin (I used one of those the other day and realized I would have been super pissed if I actually paid money for them)

I have most of my stuff in those plastic shoebox size items and larger stuff in the big plastic tubs. Non beauty stuff is in my pantry, shampoo/soap/body wash is in my bathroom closet. My pantry is stuffed- I'm overflowing a bit with free cat food, lol.

My mom is one of those people. She wants to be sick so she doesn't have to do anything. She stays inside all day, never gets up from the couch...and wonders why she's depressed. Not that I think getting up and doing something is an instant cure for depression, but it helps! And so do drugs! Yay drugs!
