I like the idea of a weight loss support group, maybe as a group on FB or Yahoo? As previously mentioned, I would feel more comfortable sharing in a smaller setting than SD.

,teri. I hope this surgery is the one that works for your son. My DH's shunt surgery was 5 years ago, after 4 other brain surgeries, and we have been blessed that there have been no surgical issues. I know it's all a hard road to travel.

I went to WM ..shhhhh dont tell anyone!! I HATE that store so much. Dumb cashier tried to tell me "Oh, we no take these interent coupons anymore" lol me.... "umm since when?" she looks at me for like 10 seconds ..walks away..comes back and says "oh, idk.. i guess we take them" ..... I said "yeah I know"
My concern with going elsewhere is that we won't actually GO there. We all hang here and chat off and on during the day. It's easy to pop in and out of threads. I also like the ability to use the wiki -- we could host recipes or info at google docs (or some of you have blogs or wherever) and link right to it through the wiki.
Shoot, SD is my home page! But, I do understand the concern for something more private.
Ok, everybody who wants to start our own fatty pants support group -- where? Here or do we try google groups or do you have another idea?

I see that lots of people are looking for ways to lose weight, and I thought I'd throw out a review for a pair of shoes I picked up at K. They are this [kmart.com] pair, and I got them at Kmart for $20 on sale. I have to say, they are amazing! I hate the round bottom shoes that look like you're going to break your ankle, and these actually look like normal shoes, but after wearing them to work all week, I can really feel that they're doing something to my legs!
Just an idea if you're on your feet a lot...this is the first "wellness" type shoe I've tried, and I really like them...plus I don't have to actually sweat to feel like I'm working out. HTH someone!
Best exercise program, T Flow Team on a low-volume store. It's about 3-4 hours, 3 days a week (4 during Holiday season). They both are forum sites similar to Slick Deals but dedicated to weight loss. I'm not a member on either site but we could start a forum over there as well.
There are also sites where you can create cute "tickers" to track your weight loss that can be fun.
This store makes you break up the transactions if you are using multiple TQs, so I had 3 transactions. 2 of the transactions had women's C9 item, so that was the usual INF/I can't take it back & forth, although the cashier was very nice. Finally pushed the coupons through. The third transaction had a men's C9 and a Merona watch. C9 wouldn't go through again. She pushed through. Scanned the Merona Accessory Q -- INF, cashier said it had to be a purse. English was her second language [sounded Eastern European], so she had a hard time understanding that a watch was an accessory. She finally called the manager and for some reason she talks to him about the C9 coupons. He oks the Merona Accessory Q.
