I have shaved off little skin tags. Keep pressure on it, wonder if you could seal it with super glue or something? Like how they do some stitches?

Holy sh$it people. I didn't even leave until 2:00 yesterday, I come back this morning, the deals thread is retired, this one is 15 page up.

My official shopping report: I got the same stuff everybody else has been getting, didn't find anything that hasn't been mentioned, I don't think.

Quote from dreemedayze :
I hate tornadoe warnings
When the heck did they change the warning system? Used to be a "watch" was when condition were right and a "warning" meant that one had actually been spotted or detected on radar. Now, they issue "warnings" when it one just might, could, maybe, will happen. Nice way to get people killed -- by making a "warning" mean nothing.

let's be honest, exercise sucks.
oh and if we make a weightloss support group, can we do it away from here? There are certain aspects of losing weight that I think are better left private.
Quote from lisapdreamer :
OK, I'll only tell you guys. I found a weight loss center that prescribes phentermine.
My doc prescribed it for a me when my thyroid croaked. First to help give me some energy until we got the other stuff regulated and second to help jump start the weight loss.
Quote from mama2cole :
I'm in for this.
Quote from jillyq :
Count me in for the weight loss club.
Okay. Sounds like we have our very own Targeteers Weight Loss Support Group. So, we need a thread. Do you all want to do it here at SD or elsewhere? If we do it here, I think we should take it out of this thread and into a new one.

I have a a couple of ideas. Exercise sucks. Yes, yes, it does. Nothing we can do will make it fun but maybe we could at least make it suck less and maybe make it a little silly.

I was thinking that maybe something we could do is come up with a goofy workout exercise of the day. There would only be two requirements. One would be that it can't require anything that we won't all have at home. If it's something like using hand weights -- if you don't have them you use a can of something from the cupboards.

The other would be, the sillier the better -- skipping in a circle for 15 minutes while singing Skip to my Loo. Imitating the teeny boppers in music videos -- although maybe if we do this, we should have someone in the house who is old enough to call 911. Those might not be the best suggestions, but you get the idea. Anything to get MOVING.

I opened 1 of the lazy susan boxes and pulled out the spec sheet and it clearly says home bath furniture.
Those weren't on clearance at my store yesterday -- but I didn't scan it either. I shouldn't have been so cheap and should have bought one anyway. They look pretty handy.

I also found a $4 off MQ for ThermaCare & 80ct or higher Advil. For the Publix peeps, I'm thinking 2 of these coupons, then 3 of the PQs (1 for ea. ThermaCare, and 1 for the 2 Advil) would be $23 off. I know ThermaCare is $6.99/ea, so that leaves $9 in Qs for 2 bottles of Advil. I wonder how much Advil is. I use it all the time, so I'm hoping this is a MM.

Hmm..may have to run to Publix after I pick up the kids.
I'm not sure of the Advil price but while shopping at a few Publix stores last night, I came across peelies on Advil for $3/1 Advil or Advil PM 80ct. Then on Thermacare there are peelies for $2/1 Thermacare...Hth!

Whew! Lots to read!

Teri - glad your DS is out of surgery and doing well! Continued Pray for you and the other patient & family you were talking about meeting as well.

There's still hope for Target??!! Confused LMAO

Amen. I don't think I read maybe three or four deals post in the last few pages, mostly all I saw was coupon begging... *snip* ...Someone will help you, it just takes a little work.
I just don't understand people who won't do the work for themselves. SD and the internet in general is such a wealth of info. that it really doesn't take a lot of digging to find what you are looking for and when you start actually putting in the time and learning you will be greatly rewarded. I think people are just lazy anymore Dontknow

Ugh... I'm so mad that I can't find my WM receipt. I think it was thrown out by my DH. Frown I want to return the pump I got. It's $13 cheaper at Target. DH always thinks I'm nuts for keeping my receipts, but seriously - this is one of those good reasons to keep them. GRRRR.

*snip*
I keep all mine too - I fold 'em up and they go straight into an empty baby wipes tub. Usually can fit about 6 mos. or so in there and then at some point I get rid of them if it's been awhile. FYI, Walmart has always been pretty good about returns w/o receipts here....up to a certain amount I think.

Quote from LongTimeLurker7 :
One more thing, Redplum has some of the canning jar coupons up (may have been there, but I just found them). I saw Lowes was clearancing them, and I know T was, but they may be gone by now.

*snip*
Thx for the info.! This ought to tide me over until some RAOK's arrive....thanks to those who sent them! Off to print from every 'puter I own!!

I know ppl who swear by this....never really tried it, my dd just doesn't really get sick....none of us do. And now that I say that I'm sure we'll all wake up with colds tomorrowlaugh out loud

Does shopping at T for an hour or more count as exercise?

I'm what I like to call a co-dependent exerciser. If I don't have a friend expecting me to show up to exercise with her then I don't do it. A friend of mine use to meet each week to walk but whenever one of couldn't make it the other always found something better to do.

My DH hates me leaving the house at nights after work. He gets off 3 hours before me and feels like I'm never home with him and DS. So whenever she would cancel on me I'd neglect to mention it to him and treat it like a free pass to do something else like SHOP.

Sadly we haven't walked in over a year now and have lost touch. I need to find a new "exercise-buddy". I tell you it is so much harder for me to talk myself out of going (or for my husband to talk me out of it) when someone else is counting on me going with them.

If I can count balancing a laptop and typing, then you can count that. Hey, my fingers aren't fat!

It would be so nice to have someone to exercise and/or with. I only have another couple months of walking weather here. I do NOT do outside in the winter.

We have neighbors that walk all winter. It's zero degrees, with chill factors that make my deep freeze look warm and they bundle up and walk every night. OMG, I have the urge to yell out the window at them, "hey, go have some wild monkey sex. It burns calories and it's a hell of a lot warmer!".

I believe it was a funnel that was lowering. It went about 6 miles to the east of us.

Went to a different store. Nothing fun. Frown

Hi everyone! I thought about coming in here and making a joke about looking for TQ's, but I figured you all are sick of those, so I didn't. Teehee

I see that lots of people are looking for ways to lose weight, and I thought I'd throw out a review for a pair of shoes I picked up at K. They are this [kmart.com] pair, and I got them at Kmart for $20 on sale. I have to say, they are amazing! I hate the round bottom shoes that look like you're going to break your ankle, and these actually look like normal shoes, but after wearing them to work all week, I can really feel that they're doing something to my legs! laugh out loud
Just an idea if you're on your feet a lot...this is the first "wellness" type shoe I've tried, and I really like them...plus I don't have to actually sweat to feel like I'm working out. HTH someone!

I guess I skimmed over that post. On another one of my posts, I could have sworn I was originally posting in the deals thread, but I actually posted on TCC. Crazy

Saw some Weighlift and other exercise equipment on clearance at T.

I've been skimming too BargainScout -- this thread is moving FAST today!!

Anyone ever try the Downy ball?? I got some liquid Downy on clearance really cheap at Wags last week AC but my machine doesn't have a dispenser so I was looking for a way to be able to use it. Found info. on the Downy ball and decided to try it ($1.3x @ T.) Anyway, LOVE it!! Works perfect, is no-fuss, and with our hard water makes the clothes soooooo soft!!

And on the topic of reviews, I give diapers.com's customer service an A+++. I ordered some shoes for dd from there a couple weeks ago (no special deal...just had the ones I was looking for and I've always gotten her good-quality shoes for her feet) and they didn't fit so had to send them back and order up a size. Have had to call their CS a couple times for things and the service has been superb!!
