And I think I'm like most of you guys- when something is free or really cheap, I can't resist. And since I'm single, I end up eating all of it.
this is totally my downfall. i know i shouldn't *buy* it but many times it's a new product or *new to me* so i tell myself i'm just trying it. sometimes i'll bring it over to a friend's house so we can all try it. that's where much of the m&m's, tgif, and some kashi bars went.

the next problem is once i buy it, i can't waste food. so i eat stuff i don't even like and i would never pay money for. so don't laugh but i've eaten at least 50 soyjoy bars. to me they're edible, don't melt and don't get crushed, so i've used them as emergency rations when i go out. i've done the same w/ the kashi bars, south beach, nature valley and now i have fiber plus bars but really, soyjoy does hold up best in my bag. i guess it is better than buying dunkin donuts which i used to do and i always bought 2, boston creme and french cruller or pumpkin or any new flavors. i have decided i really don't like granola and i'm never paying money for it and if i ever *buy* it i'll give it away. i should really donate the fiberplus bars and eat my costco raisins and sams club dried cherries instead. it's a sickness i tell ya!!!

i do try to donate anything i've bought that i forgot to check for partially hydrogenated fats. it's very tedious and time consuming to check the ingredients at the supermarket so sometimes i'll slip. or once i've bought it i'll eat it b/c i've never had it b4 and i paid money for it but i won't buy it again.

Where are you going in Alaska? I used to live there Big Grin

If you're just flying into Anchorage, try Alaska Air. United, Continental, Delta, etc all fly into Anchorage too.

Posted a deal in the begging thread, so for your reading pleasure-- be on the look out for $3 TQ peelie on the Archer Farms pizza for the Archer Farms lasagna. No size listed. Do they have the smaller individual sizes?

texass. I looked on Priceline and it's cheaper. Way cheaper. Like 290 instead of the cheapest from Delta, AA, and Alska Airlines of 420.

The deal is, she'd be bringing her dog and cat and I can't find a spot to ad that on the flight info stuff. Confused

Wait. If you're from TX, why do you need AK info?

You might need to call the airline and ask about pet info. I've never done air travel with my pets, so I don't know how that works.

OK, I'll only tell you guys. I found a weight loss center that prescribes phentermine. I feel like it's cheating, but don't want to have to be drastic and get surgery. So, will go with this for as long as it works for me. I have been at the gym twice a week, and walking the dog every night, or more like running, she is quick and has a ton of energy!

I love it, too heart Since we are expecting another little girl in a few weeks - I was already thinking that I wish I lived near a beach and where can I find a cute tutu like that one laugh out loud
Thanks. I made the Tutu. I also took pics of her in an orange and blue gator tutu. If you google "how to make a tutu" you'll find a million sites and even videos on the subject. It's really, really easy.

Where in the store(s) do you usually find the mis-tints?? I hear ppl talk about getting them but I've never found any. Figure maybe I am not looking in the right place.
We call it "oops paint" around here. laugh out loud You can find it in the paint section, usually on a shelf by where they mix it.

i think we should start a weight loss club/support group here. let's not just be all talk. no action.
I'm in for this. I lost 65lbs after DS was born and then gained a bunch back when I got pregnant with DD. I've lost some, but I still need to drop about 25lbs. I was doing good before vacation, but now I don't even want to get on the scale.

Haven't been to T in a week. Sadwalk But, DS starts pre-k tomorrow so I'm excited to have a few mornings a week with just the baby to shop with! Whee

Ok my area of expertise... kinda LOL If she is bringing her pets.. how big is her dog? Normally the airline will allow each person to carry on one pet that can fit in a carrier under their seat for 100 bucks... then the other animal *if larger than under seat or too large would have to go into cargo and it can be pricey.. just a thought... you do have to call the airline in order to do so Smilie HTH!!

Count me in for the weight loss club. I sure wish I had a ST that would make my life much easier Frown. What are the chances of Target selling private chefs and personal trainers in the near future? If I eat and workout in the bathroom they would be considered bathroom furniture, right? Wink

i think we should start a weight loss club/support group here. let's not just be all talk. no action. many have taken the first step and admitted you'd like to change. now we just need to *just do it!*

then the time i spend here could be purposeful and productive instead of procrastination Teehee.

we could trade tips, recipes, encourage each other to exercise, not eat junk food, etc.

i need to lose weight and exercise more too! i have a torn acl and need to exercise my quads to make up for it. and i do not want to pay to replace my custom graphite brace for sports b/c i gained weight. i actually use it the most for vacuuming the house! ...which i haven't done much of lately.

and in all honesty, couponing and targeting does not encourage weight loss, rather the opposite. all those candy deals, mm sobe, fruit snacks, free or cheap packaged foods, etc just does not help w/ the weight issue.
I'm in! *scurrying away to hide my hot chocolate Starbucks ice cream in the freezer*

And I would have to somewhat disagree with coupons and junk food. Yes, the majority of coupons and deals does involve junk food, but there are deals for moderately healthy food, as well. Just tonight, I got 2 tins of Blue Diamond almonds and 2 of the canisters of almonds (I believe they're brown sugar cinnamon) for approx. $1/ea at Rite Aid. Granted, not free, but I worked them into a deal where they ended up being almost free. I find that I have to make a conscious effort to get the more healthy options, but they are out there.

I'm almost scared to go to T. I haven't been since my last horrendous trip but that store was 1/2 hour away. The store I would go to tomorrow has always been coupon-friendly and not had any of the "weird" updates, other than JMS. I think I'm just gonna do a simple transaction, maybe get some Mr. Clean and some bathroom stuff, and see how it goes. Is there anything that bathroom TQ doesn't beep on?

Does Target carry Muellers pasta?
