i have been thinkin about this all day. farkin makes me mad when people who are not "techies" use "epic" and "fail" when they shouldn't.
i know this douche who said the other day, "i made this epic omelete." loser
whats even worse is when those same people say "that was an epic fail" for something completely unrelated to computers. are you farkin kidding me!? all of the sudden everyone starts using facebook and now they think they're techies that can throw around those words.
JUST BECAUSE YOU USE FACEBOOK DOESN'T GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO USE "epic" AND "fail" ALL THE TIME.
get a life gawd dang dweebs.

wow...just...wow.
No I'm not bitter!
Anyways if you failed the epic quest at certain steps the whole quest would need to be restarted. I knew of a handful of ppl that had to do their epic quest multiple times. I also recall some rogues that...threw their epic weapon by accident. They had to do the complete quest over again to get it back.
I can't believe someone misspelled the word "fail."
I can't believe someone misspelled the word "fail."
2002- Underground internet-savy dudes start using it. Becomes popular in the small community (most likely 4chan).
2004- Casual young computer users start using it. This includes annoying teenagers and savy adults.
2006- Soccer mom uses it. Phrase can be found on t-shirts at Target.
2008- Phrase is discovered by 8 years olds first getting online, and completely clueless adults. Phrase is used on tv shows by yuppies. Original users of this phrase will only use it to mock its overuse.
2010- Phrase is ubiquitous. It is no longer a buzz word, but a normal part of the vocabulary. It is most likely in the Webster Dictionary.
