find it bitter like lipton, maybe try tetley which is not bitter
I HATE Lipton. I got a bunch free at Target a year or two ago, thought I would give it a try. shake head It got donated. I buy Tetley and Luzianne. HyVee (store brand) decaf is ok too.

Damn, I missed it.

Hmmm, that's very intriguing. How many days do you do the liquid fast?
I'm go to do two or three days. I started this morning. I may go all the way through Wed. to breakfast Thurs. or I may go up until Wed. night supper.

They are TPC for .50/each and there are .50/2 here [campbellskitchen.com]. There were also .40/2 in an insert not too long ago.
Thanks for the info.

I've been to town. Got all of my "good" papers out of the bins today. Not a one from the gas station. I did see a box for a Target bathroom tension rod storage thingy and it made we wonder....

I took the dogs along and we stopped at the lake on the way home afterward so I spend around half an hour just walking around there while they ran and played. It was nice and there are some small hills so I did some up and downs.

Now Heidi thinks she is being tortured. I have the doggy door blocked so they can't get in the house until they dry. I have brand new off white living room carpet -- they can dry outside! The other one doesn't care, she is napping in the sun.

I did kind of screw up. I didn't take anything to drink with me and now I'm getting hungry. I just chased a couple of Exlax with a diet Cream Soda and called it lunch.
I think I might take the dogs and go for another walk -- before "lunch" kicks in. I drove the route I like to walk and if I go one more block over before I go down to the end of town and back that should make it a mile. Yes, the whole town is less than a half mile long.

I'm going to have to make the hour each way trip to Menards sometime this week and exchange for soffit channel. It's a shame that's it right across the road from Target. Big Grinwootbounce

Diet Tip Foods designed to make you hungier = Avoid if possible

Especially for those who don't trgger that full feeling :
IAspartane" = Equal and Nutrasweet inhibits the the production of a brain chemical that signals fullness

sucrose or glucose = sends blood sugar levels soaring / also triggers intense cravings for carbs

flavor enhancers nucleic acids = increases appetite

Sorry I'm being abrupt jsut popping in and out, busy day.

Had a great time at Target today buying towels. Infant clearance was being marked from 30% to 50% when I was there.
Going to take the baby in the pool today.

Is 16 weeks old enough to start your baby on solids? My wife is paranoid that it is too early.
Awww my dd is 5 months now... she ate rice cereal by the time she was 3 1/2 months and is eating fruits & veggies already... your little one will be fine.. just make sure you try one food at a time for a week and start out with rice cereal... I have done it with all 8 of our kids and everyone has been fine Smilie HTH!!

Okay, I am really annoyed right now. I've been to Kroger, Target, and Walmart and they don't have fresh produce Peas. Noone seems to know why. Are they out of season???

So I am having fresh (organic) greens with cheese (Tilamook, probably 99.9% fat), tomatoes, and low fat croutons. I even read the package and counted my croutons. lol

Tonight we are having baked chicken with sage, whole wheat rice, steamed squash and zucchini, and fresh green beans.

Tonight I am going to put a stew in the crockpot. I bought celery, carrotts, potatoes, and onions.

Yeah - she gets pretty gassy. I burp her after eating, but she still seems to have issues. I'm wondering if it's not something I"m eating - so I guess I need to keep a food diary for a while to see. Otherwise, maybe it's just the fact that she's a newborn and her system is adjusting. *shrug* She also gets bad hiccups sometimes.
Have you tried Gripe Water? My oldest was horribly gassy (figured out when I ate tomatoes/sauces it was the worst) and she would throw up after feedings. My friend told me about Gripe Water and it was a lifesaver! I got it at a local pharmacy but you can get it online. The one that worked best for my daughter has dill weed oil, fennel oil and anise oil. Good luck!

Avent used to make some cereal nipples
Have you seen these cereal/food bottles? I got one as a gift. I thought they were the dumbest damn things I had ever seen. Take your time and feed the kid, ya know?

Then I had one that breastfed fine for 3 or 4 weeks then refused to take milk. I tried putting it in a bottle, I tried the formula samples the hospital sent home, I tried whole milk, I closed the curtains and tried chocolate milk. That baby stopped taking milk and that was all there was to it. And she was an underweight preemie. She was screaming. I made cereal with breast milk she sucked it down and screamed some more. I made another one she sucked that one down and screamed again. I made another. She sucked down half, burped, went to sleep and never drank milk again. She's 20 now and still rarely drinks milk.

Cereal, baby food, apple sauce, mashed potatoes and gravy, they all went in there.

For the people using honey as a sweetener;have you tried agave nectar. It sounds fancy but it is just the liquid from agave leaves. Agave is the plant that gives us the most delicious drink, tequila. This has a low glycemic index so it does not spike your blood sugar like honey and other sugars. It is found in health food stores or in the organic section of your GS. A little goes a long way. I buy it in liter bottles and use it for making granola.

It does not cut down on calories though, so be aware that it is almost equal to the amount of calories in sugar. But if you are diabetic, or heading that way, it is worth some consideration.

Agave nectar is good. And when you feel like splurging, you can go to PF Changs and get their Organic Agave Margarita! It's Patron, Lime Juice, and Agave Nectar, all natural. LMAO

The little demi loaves do come in frozen and par baked. All they do in-store is bake them for another few minutes and package them up.

A quick question about the Mr. Clean Q. Can I use 2 in the same transaction and have it work right? I need some Mr. Clean and Bounce Dryer Bars Wink
Yep, I already have several bottles of downy, some mr clean, and I found some Old Spice bodywash on clearance. Qs worked like they were supposed to, got my giftcards. Only weird thing is the target hangtag Q for downy scans, but doesnt attach in the grouping. But who really cares right? laugh out loud

So my son comes home with a letter from school. They are having a contest for BTFE. Evil The family that collects the most boxtops for the year wins a 200.00 Target giftcard. Evillaugh

So if you have any extra, or know someone that does, please PM me. I'll trade you anything out of my house, including the extra testosterone and temper tantrums. Big Grin
