Check out the clearance sporting goods at T. There is a small stepper that is at 50% ($35ish) right now. I got one a couple of years ago and would do it while I watched TV. It works great and is small!!
Slowtech, thanks for all the tea recommendations, I do like green tea, preferably iced since its still so hot, maybe if its too strong/bitter I can use some honey, I totally forgot its a natural sweetner. As for milk I rarely drink it I'm not huge on dairy. And if I do drink its usually whole with oreos. But can't have those anymore
So I still can't locate tcc dieters from my cell and how can I participate if I can't get there? Does anyone know how to get to it without a link, so I can try when mobile, pm me please

I was looking thru "Red" magazine today while on break. The coupon on the back (there's a new one every month, last month was save $50 on entertainment installation, which still made it $50 or more for them to plug my tv into the wall) sucks this month. But, I found some TQs inside that

I dont' think I can do no carb - not yet anyways. I'm still getting awful hungry with the BFing, so I think I kind of need the filler. But, I can cut back and also make sure I'm getting better carbs.
I love veggies and fruits and all manner of healthy stuff, so that will be easy. I think what will make it even easier is if I go shopping, bring stuff home, and prep it. If veggies are cut up and sitting there, I will be more likely to eat them.
I am also going to get back to some freezer cooking and such. That is one of those things that takes some prep and planning at first, but is so much easier than if I try to stand there at the last minute going "hmmm... what should i make for dinner now??"
Once upon a time, I had gained a ton of weight and went up to a size 18/20 - freaked out and changed what I was doing. One of the biggest things I did was start eating soups for lunch. I think the increase in liquids plus lots of veggies and lower portions of fattier things (like the meats, etc...) made a huge difference for me. I also took a dance class - hard core modern dance - and that got my metabolism jump started. I've always loved dance, but hadn't done it in years. Oh, another benefit - I was VERY (*very*

I am not even going to attempt extra exercising until I get the eating thing down...one thing at a time. I have a wii fit, now I wish I had a space that was truly big enough to use it. We also have My Fitness Coach and the Biggest Loser game for Wii - both of which are good. I am contemplating mall walking. I am thinking my dd would tolerate being in the stroller, we could get out of the house for a bit, and we could do it even in the winter. We don't have the best conditions outside for walking....lots of traffic, poorly maintained sidewalks, lots of intersection construction projects that have closed the sidewalks at that, etc. and just generally not the best area. Also contemplating that 30 day shred video but I am wondering if it would just be too much for me.

i prefer pasta over rice. i can do w/out cake and just do social occasions. icing has to be really special cuz it's usually too sweet...except for whipped cream frosting on strawberry shortcake. that i have to eat.

i think this is key. sometimes i think food comes too easy in the US. i watch all those obese tv shows where people eat off trays in hospitals or go to the cafeteria but i don't think they are learning to prepare food for themselves when they go back to the real world. if they don't know how to cook or change the way they cook, they are going to end up right back where they started b/c they don't cook healthy, order out, fast food, frozen food, etc. i also think you learn to prepare the correct portion sizes for yourself. and those prepared foods never have enough fruits and veggies in them. usually miniscule amts. i bought weight watcher entrees to try during a supermarket deal and those things don't have much veggies at all.

I've always used it in hot tea but never in iced tea, so I guess I will try and see what happens.
As for school question dd school has a park with a walking track, I'm just not sure dh will approve he's very protective especially here in vegas there's a whole lotta weirdos here.
