Probably no T for me today. I did get to go last night. Dumb me forgot to bring along the Home bathroom Qs. Thankfully I had the RE ones, since there was TONS of clearance for that!! Literally endcaps full of RE bathroom clearance. Hoping to get back there today or tomorrow, but our weekend is pretty jam-packed.
On an unrelated note, lots of Home towels were marked down to 2.48. OK, I must get off here and clean my house. Family coming in tonight for the weekend, and it must be at least a little bit presentable.
I've got to run to Target at lunch to pick up some Huggies wipes and clearanced bathroom furniture.

Hit target and kohls this morning, there were price change people all over the store marking stuff down! I got a lot of cute socks for my neice for Xmas they were $1.00-$1.75, got the grooming thing that you hang on the wall so I can put all my junk in $7.48 -10TQ free plus overage. I was going to tell the cashier to adjust it down but this girl didnt say one word to me while ringing me up..NOTHING! At least say Hi or maybe "Have a nice day". So whatever,she paid me to take it home I bought it like a week ago for $14-10TQ =$4something. So im gonna take that one back. 2 things of 5 hour energy @ $1.48each.
I'm loving these Kohls Q's Use 3 yesterday and 1 so far today. I put a cute bakugan (sp?) alarm clock on hold for my DS for xmas. It's on clearance for $7.99. Going back later to get it.
I'm moving on thursday and there is so much to do but I just want to shop!

I need a SD on carpet cleaning! I dont want to pay $175 to have these stupid carpets cleaned! I'm moving out of my current apartment and into a bigger one. I have to get carpets cleaned because if i dont and they think they are messed up they will charge me so much more than the cost of having them cleaned BUT I still dont want to pay that much! BLAH lol
I agree that Vaseline (jelly not lotion) is as good as anything else. I bought some that Lamisilk especially for dry feet cream in the tub and it pretty much feels like petroleum jelly. I think it's mostly lanolin. (Don't freak, I didn't pay for it -- KMart Clearanc - Coupon) Use whatever 40 bottles of lotion you have around -- use it generously.
Lube your feet up good and slimy and put on some socks. Do it a few times a day if you think of it. With winter coming -- otherwise known as socks and shoes weather -- that will help. Just make it a habit when you get dressed. If you pumice and moisturize for a week or two every single day, I guarantee you will see a big difference.
also try it w/ good old vaseline. it's probably the cheapest too. i have very dry skin on my shins. sometimes in the winter i have to use vaseline to moisturize. cold cream will work too.
if you wear sandals a lot i think this can be more of a problem. i noticed when i wear sandals more, my feet are drier and the skin gets thicker. i don't get cracks like my friend who goes bare more than me. i wear socks around the house and to sleep most of the yr except summer. i know she doesn't wear socks to sleep.
I just did that a couple weeks ago. Used my drivers license at Menards, got to Target it wasn't where it belonged thought I would have to run back. Nope, it was in the wrong slot behind my debit card.
I think our monsoon is finally over. It's still pretty windy today but windy is the norm for northern Iowa. I need to run into town and go to HyVee.
I think having the keurig now makes me find any excuse for coffee.. I *need * to have more than one cup cause I gotta try the different varieties and see what I like best so I can stock up at Kohls this week
I tried the butter toffee yesterday.. Pretty good, but it had a little of the "burnt taste" too me?? Maybe I am just weird. I will definitely drink it again though.. I read alot of good reviews about the donut shop one, but I didn't really care for it.. still seemed a little too strong/bitter. I think my tastes are not like most other people.
Today, I drank the caribou breakfast kind and really liked it. Not bitter at all to me.. it was very good. And I also tried the hazlenut that I was kindly sent from a wonderful TCCer.. I liked it too. I was skeptical cause I don't like hazlenut creamer at all.. But it was just smooth tasting.

Maybe they'll put that Nestle hot chocolate coupon out again this year and you can stock up on that for little of nothing. I got a bunch of the Butterfinger. Oh, my. That is just absolutely fabulous -- and I'm not a big fan of flavored cocoa of coffee. Unfortunately, they quite making it... but I still have a few boxes in the closet.
Have you ever made the hot chocolate mix yourself? It used to be a lot cheaper than buying it, but who knows anymore.
my friend's sister did that and brought it from VA w/ her to clean her sister's carpets. but their family has bad allergies so now no more carpets. they have lots of cork now.

I had a Bissell first and it eventually quit squirting water. I found out it was a common problem. So, I replaced it with a Hoover.
The bristles quit spinning on it. Discovered it's a stupid design issue. Not belt driven its air or suction of something, anyway, again, a common problem. We followed some directions online and got it going again for the time being.
If I were buying another new one, I would go with the Bissell. Overall, I like it better. I like the beater bar better and I like the one tank system better. The heater is a non issue -- my water heater is set hotter than those heat to. (Actually, I did just buy another of these -- at a used place for $10!!)
Now, if you find a Hoover on clearance dirt cheap -- buy it. It does a good job. But if they are tit for tat on price, I'd go with the Bissell.
And, some unsolicited advice -- if you have new carpet and need to clean it do NOT use any kind of carpet cleaning solution or soap. Have you ever noticed that once you clean carpet it seems to get dirtier faster? That's because it does. It doesn't matter how long or how well you rinse, you will never get all the soap/cleaner out. It leaves a residue. Dirt adheres to the residue making it dirtier faster.
Really dirty carpet and it just won't come clean with out it... you just know it? Try it, you will be surprised a what just hot water and your steam cleaner will do. Let's see... grape juice, pancake syrup, cooking oil, and plain old ground in dirt have come up just fine. Oh yeah, and lets not forget puke and poop. Been there, done that.
