Glade candles and Cat Food were a good buy though. Don't know about swiffer, didn't have any with me. Mr. Clean asked to pick item.


On top of that, I went to Wal-Mart for some Gain. What a I only had a few Gain, and a big Lego set that was clearance for $25. At check-out, the lady scanned everything, then said, "I don't think we can take these, let me call someone." This was 20 mins to 2pm, I have to be at the school to pick up my kids at 2:20, and it's a 15 min drive.

10 mins. later, still no one has come. I tell the lady, just take the Gain off, I'll just get the Legos. She ignores me and calls someone again. We can see the lady, she is just standing around.

By 2pm, I'm insisting, just take the Gain off, I'll just get the Legos. If they had more than just that 1 set of Legos, I would have left and got it later. Finally, the lady comes over and says, "we can't take these". Great, cashier told me that 20 mins ago! So the cashier takes the Gain off, one at a time.

Only thing in my hands is the Lego set and the receipt. I was at the cash register closest to the door, Greeter was watching me check out. I get half way out the door, she yells at me to stop. Checks my receipt, and starts saying, "you should have more than this!" WTF! She was holding me up at the door because she thought I should have more than I do! After a few mins, I get it thru her head that they had voided the other things off.

I walk out, swearing I will never go to Wal-Mart (again)!

But, at T, the Glade Tough Odor spray is on TPC (or PC, not sure) for $1.99, so free after TQ & MQ.

Went to a new park that opened up about 10 minutes from the house. It is so nice. Great playground for my DD, a walking track that I would guess is 1/3 or 1/4 mile per lap. But, the coolest thing is it has these little exercise kiosk kinda things every 50 feet or so. They have fitness instructions on different exercises.. One is a small stationary bike, another is a stair stepper, several arm weight things.. it is pretty cool! I only made it one lap cause the toddler was begging for more playground time.. Hoping to head back tomorrow!

I happened upon a deal when I was reading another site tonight.. Never have even been in Food Lion, but I went tonight and grabbed several packs of water for .02 each.. It was so much fun. I can't believe I didn't know about this deal before tonight since it was the end of the sale.. Saw dazzled was posting in the FL thread.. Guess some TCC folks knew about the deal. I ended up with 21 of the 8 packs, so I was pleased.
Tried a new Publix.. cashier was a pain, and I left the cart there..

Still no target, but I may get there tomorrow. gotta get some produce..

Does anyone know where I can find some kind of child lock for the ice & water dispencer on my fridge? My kids won't quit making huge messes with it.

As for my job situation, I'm gonna ride it out. I was thinking of maybe going back to school, -m not sure yet what I want to do?

Just to give u a little background I have always been a stay at home mom, still am, but I now also work full time from home, for a year and a half now. I wouldn't have gotten this job if it wasn't for the fact that I can stay home with my kids while I work. DH is very traditional, he does not want our kids to ever be in daycare, and so far they never have been. Ds is gonna be five in nov. And next year will go to kindergarten. Dh and I also own a business but do to the economy it has not thrived as we hoped. We have been lucky to have a few dedicated clients that continue to call in work, but its not guaranteed. DH said if worse comes to worse he will work for another company. So I guess only time will tell! I'm not going to quit my job this could be an oppurtunity to advance, if the company does survive.
