Purchases with rewards or ATM cards are not eligible for matching. Upon enrollment, we will round up your Mastercard or Visa Debit Card purchases to the nearest dollar and transfer the difference from your checking account to your Bank of America savings account. We will match 100% of your Keep the Change transfers for the first three months after you enroll. Thereafter, we will match 5% (10% for California Tiered Interest Checking customers). The maximum total match is $250 per year. Matching funds are paid annually after the anniversary of enrollment on accounts that remain open and enrolled. Bank of America will only match Keep the Change transfers on up to five checking accounts per depositor (including joint depositors) or up to five checking accounts per household, whichever is less. And yes, its been around for awhile. You get 3-months with 100% matching, after that I believe its only 5%. And as a previous poster mentioned, its not easy to get $250... but it can be done if you have nothing to do with extra time. You can just pump $1.01 at a gas station. I think it works 3 times before the card is locked, then go to a different station, or gas station all together.
