What's it going to be used for? Your tiny budget may not cover unlimited use of the "logo"

There are a ton of stock photography sites, but you're looking for more of a graphic design thing, right?

It can be done. I don't remember the exact "rules" of it, but there are a ton of micro-sites out there, and you can buy an image for as low as $15 or something -- but that only gives you a certain number of times/places you can use it. If you want an unlimited use license it costs more (maybe $150 more per image).

Then there is non-micro-stock sites (like real sites that sell photos/graphic design). They cost a lot more.

The two sites that come to my mind are istockphoto.com and alamy.com (micro-stock and regular stock).


Or... you can always go to flickr and find a picture you like, email the photographer/graphic designer and ask to use it for free. Some of them will let you Dontknow

From my brief look into it a while ago, these are the "main" "legal" options you have. Things may have changed, or I may have missed something...
