The poor Walgreens people here all know me by sight now! At multiple stores!

The managers at two stores even joke with me often about the ridiculous deals I get thanks to the D/G forum, coupons, and Register Rewards!!

"How much are you going to steal from us this week old man?!?!?" LMAO

They are about the nicest people to steal from get free/really low cost merchandise from!!!

I had a new cashier today. She finished ringing me up, then she says, "WOW! You saved WAY more than you even spent! And you got register rewards back too!"

Of course I did, darling. Stick Out Tongue

I take the "clueless old man" approach! It works for me!!!

"Wow. I saved that much? Really? What are these things printing out from the little printer here next to the register?"

$70????

I'm glad I'm not a farking woman!!!

I have a pair of black Chucks from the 80's I still wear sometimes!!
I don't spend a lot of money on myself. My big monthly splurge is having my nails done twice. Aside from that I am pretty low maintenance. I just feel so girly and good after I have had them done Smilie

I am getting them redone tomorrow after work for no charge Whee

A question:

Lately there have been a lot of $15, $20 or $30 items that R has said he likes or he wants but he has not bought (he hates to spend money sometimes). Most of these are not necessities just things he sees that he likes. For instance yesterday he tried on a fleece jacket at Costco but decided not to get it because the line was super long and he didn't really "need" another jacket. I had been thinking about what to get him for Christmas as he's sort of difficult to buy for (have we heard this before?). My original idea was to buy him new fixtures, vanity , etc for our weird 70's dark green bathroom as is is both ugly and disgusting (no amount of cleaning product gets it very clean as it's old and most of the enamel is worn off the tub). So that was a rather large idea but really only a few items.

Now I'm rethinking this idea. I think bathroom supplies might not be seen as a "gift" as they will need to be installed. I can install most everything myself but I'm afraid he'd feel obligated to help.

So should I stick with redoing the bathroom (which is sort of a gift for me too) or should I start buying things he says he likes but does not actually purchase?
Stay away from redoing a bathroom..Crying

Seriously though, you can do it yourself it's not too bad...I'll be putting up the walls and insert in a week or so, i'll update my thread with more pics of how it's going soon.

BTW, your bath sounds like my master bath..Rofl2

I had a wife once - well more than once actually - so I understand the idea of this even though as a man and a Slickdealer it may seem a completely foreign concept to me!!!! Wink5
