If you live in an area with an ethnic market or have a store that stocks a better than the typical average selection, the corn ones from stores aren't terrible either. I used to live in a very ethnically diverse area and the local large chain grocery store had a very decent selection of bagged corn tortillas. I swear there were at least 15 to 20 brands.
Not as good as fresh from scratch but very decent and not terribly cost ineffective either!
I need to get the measurements and whatnot.

Just buy the tortilla flour, follow instructions on mixing. Then let it rise per instructions. Roll it into balls. Then sprinkle flour on counter & a bit on the dough ball so it doesn't stick and use a rolling pin to spread it. Put it on a gridle. Done. Easy peasy
Even though that's a nearly anti-Alton one-dimensional tool!

I used to shop at a tiny bodega back when I was in grad school a million years ago. It was slightly more expensive but it was a treat to get some of the selection you just couldn't find in mainstream stores.
