Did you watch?

For a show on a non premium cable channel, I thought it was very good. I never read the comic, so I don't know how it compares, but I'll be watching every Sunday. pisses me off that I don't get AMC in HD though.

Last episode wasn't a bridge episode per se, but did have a lot of set up for what is to come. We're starting to see storylines set up that will lead to the reuniting of Andrea with the group, a face off between "us" vs "them," some payback storylines, and a lot of dead bodies and zombies in between. I don't see that happening. First off, Daryl's a little too soft to kill his own brother. He may not like him, but he's still blood and Merle will have to do something REALLY f-ed up before Daryl can kill him. As a Merle fan, I'd love to see him double cross the Governor and rejoin the group, but I don't think that will happen. Most likely he'll take his bike back from Daryl, ride off into the sunset and show up later on in the story.

Merle threatens the life of Carole and the only one to stop him is Daryl? It's possible.

The firefight is going to add to the drama and be great for the show, but I do not think it would actually go down like that in a post apocalyptic world...ammo would be scarce and they are going to be shooting AKs like its Afghanistan?

i loved that dude hold up in his house...in his bed like that. Why he didn't have the door locked, I'll never know, but then he says he'll call the police?? C'mon man! And he must have had CRAZY food all stocked up in that shiz and they just run away on a mission. How did the Woodburry people never find it/him on a scouting mission? He was only a "mile or two" away from the town.

Not enough drama from an accidental shooting. Daryl and Merle need to have a face off, and Daryl will either save a group member by killing Merle, or he'll let Merle run away so he can come back in a later episode.

Hmm, possible chance Merle kills the Governor to save Daryl. Blood is thicker than water, Governor! It'd be like a recreation of one-handed Darth Vader throwing the Emperor into the bottomless pit in Star Wars. The Governor is pretty tricky, but I don't think he can shoot energy from his fingertips, though maybe.

Actually, now that I think about it, that would be an amusing recreation. One-handed Merle raising the Governor over his head and throwing him into the pit of zombies he's keeping around for those UFC fights they have. Blondie told you to get rid of those zombies, Governor!

Hmm, now I'm wondering if Blondie will kill the Governor. She's been useless this entire season, even to the point of sharing a bed with the Governor. Maybe she'll have to be the one to kill him to redeem herself from being so useless. I mean, Carol is pretty useless, but at least she's not literally sleeping with the enemy.

Btw, for those who can't get enough Walking Dead, you might like watching (or playing) playthroughs of The Walking Dead video game on Youtube or other sites. Some have player commentary, some don't. There's currently five "episodes," and the main story does have closure at the end of those five episodes. Most of the characters are different, though there is a familiar face or two.
