Did you watch?

For a show on a non premium cable channel, I thought it was very good. I never read the comic, so I don't know how it compares, but I'll be watching every Sunday. pisses me off that I don't get AMC in HD though.

As far as I'm concerned, the writers screwed the pooch on this episode. The governor needed to die. They have used up every logical and illogical reason for his survival so far and it has gone beyond reasonable/acceptable, now it's bordering on stupid. The guy's expiration date was up weeks ago. vomit

I disagree, 100%. The Gov was a breath of fresh air this season, and he will continue to be in the future.

Season finale was kinda mehhh for me. I guess with their budget they couldn't go uber explosive and considering the amount of money they put into making the prison, I suspect AMC wanted them to get at least two seasons out of it.

So they drag the prison sequence out an extra year so I suspect next year we'll see the Gov come back with a vengeance and we cannot assume that the prison sequence will last the whole year. It could last until the midseason break and then come back next spring with a whole new journey, who knows.

I expected far more bloodshed and treachery. I suspect they will replace her with an equivalent as they progress the story.

In any case I can't wait to see what they cook up for next season.

Disagree, it would have been bad writing to kill off a bad guy of his level. Much better to have him run away with his tail between his legs, to regroup and return later as a threat. He's the super-villain that has to be fought numerous times before he's ultimately defeated.

I agree...someone that just shot 20 people...you don't point a gun at them and hope to talk him off of the cliff...you shoot the farker right there on the spot!!!

I can't tell what they are doing with Carl though. I'd have shot that bastard too. I SAID PUT THE GUN DOWN!!! Think back to how Rick killed Shane. Rick said "I am going to put the gun down...here, I'll hand it to you" and started to inch closer and closer and then STABBED THE FARKER! #Kill or be killed. #ThugLife

Carl was completely in the right to kill that dude, and Hershall is a little rat bitch. But...Carl shouldn't have lied. He didn't draw on you...but he also didn't follow orders and threatened you. I liked the back seat roll they gave Carl this year, but I am going to hate S4 if they bring him back just to make him be a little pain in the ass again.

Ok I gave this series a chance.... and watched the last two episodes.

Not good not sure why all the hype.

Is it just the zombie killing scenes...are you all THAT easily entertained?

Whats with the arrow avenger guy on the Harley?

This show waxes and wanes. I'd never read the comics, never even heard of them actually. Just happened to watch the very first show because I'm a Halloween fanatic and thought the makeup was amazing. Got hooked not long after.

There are definitely some things I would have done different from what the writers have done/are doing. There are times where I just throw my hands in the air and yell at the TV, "are you kidding me?", but I think that's true of anything you watch on TV or at the theater

I'm waaay more interested in the action packed, zombie killing sprees and the story behind the virus itself than I am in the character development and human drama. I could totally do without that crap. So much of the drama is self-induced and more often than not, there's too much chatter. Nothing really happened last night until the last 20 minutes. Yawn But I think it depends on the person watching it and what they enjoy.

As far as "love stories", even though I'm a chick, meh, I can take 'em or leave 'em. But in the zombie apocalypse, there should be no love story, no love interest, no relationship crap, no ring shopping, no weddings, blah, blah, blah. Now if they want to throw in a quickie sex scene like they did with Maggie and Glenn, fine, but somebody should get eaten during ... and not in the "good" way. laugh out loud

As far as the guy on the Harley, that's Daryl. Mostly hated during S1, evoked curiosity during S2, and now the fan favorite during S3. After Rick went bat-shit crazy, Daryl and the zombie kills are pretty much the only reason for even watching the show anymore.

The ONLY redeeming thing about last night that I found was finally being rid of Andrea. She caused more problems this season than anyone. Everything else seemed completely idiotic and they definitely left WD fans with more questions than answers. Crazy

That final wasn't good. Who the hell is going to ride with the Gov. after his display of mental instability? And the team is still stuck at the prison? Are you kidding me?

I'm watching Game of Thrones tonight, a show that rarely disappoints unlike, "The Governor (and sometimes Zombies too)"

Good point...once Hitler went nuts and just started to kill millions and millions every single person by his side instantly left him.


Not saving the Gov'na is as good of a leader as Hitler though.
